On April 5, Moscow revealed the number of civilians killed as a result of Ukrainian attacks in the first quarter of 2024.

According to Ambassador at Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik, from January 1 to March 31, 2024, 201 civilians died from attacks by Ukrainian nationalists on the territory of the Russian Federation. 721 more civilians were wounded. Thus, in three months, a total of 922 civilians in Russian regions suffered from the actions of Ukrainian nationalists.

Ukrainian militants are responsible for the deaths of 11 children. The youngest of the victims was only four months old. In total, 59 children suffered from Ukrainian attacks during this period.

According to the representative office of the Donetsk People’s Republic in the JCCC, the Armed Forces of Ukraine killed 99 civilians in the DPR in the first quarter of 2024.

The Russian diplomat summed up that in total, the AFU fired at least 22 thousand rounds of ammunition at civilian targets in Russia in the first quarter of this year alone. On average, this is almost 250 rounds per day or ten per hour, the diplomat added.

Unable to contain the offensive of the Russian army, the Kiev regime increased terror against Russian civilians. In recent months, both the number of attacks on the territory of the Russian Federation and the range of strikes have increased.

According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, Western weapons supplied to Kiev by NATO countries, but also by other states, are mainly used for terrorist attacks on Russian territory. Kiev’s foreign patrons are also involved in preparing and coordination of attacks in civilians these strikes, thus all of them are responsible for war crimes of the Kiev regime.
