American-Israeli Strikes Hit Missile And Drone Facilities In Bid To Cripple Iranian Production (Videos, Photos)

The United States and Israel are targeting facilities linked to Iran’s missile and drone program in an attempt to cripple the production of such weapons.

Photos released by the Central Command (CENTCOM) on March 19 showed massive destruction at the Karaj Surface-to-Surface Missile Plant in western Iran. The command said that the facility was used to “assemble ballistic missiles that threatened Americans, neighboring countries, and commercial shipping.”

One of the photos dated March 1, shows the plant prior to U.S. strikes. The other dated March 11, shows the same location after U.S. forces struck the facility with “precision munitions,” according to CENTCOM.

Other photos showing destruction at the Esfahan Khomeynishahr Drone Production Plant in central Iran were released by CENTCOM on March 20. The facility “produced Shahed one-way attack drones that have been used by the Iranian regime to attack targets across the region,” the command said.

It added that the photos, dated March 3, and March 12, show the site before and after a” barrage of U.S. precision weapons strikes,” describing the attack as “another major blow to Iran’s defense industrial base.”

Also on March 20, CENTCOM shared footage showing a series of strikes on Hajjiabad base, a significant underground military complex in southern Iran primarily serving as a hardened “missile city” and air base.

Separately, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced on March 20 that strikes hit dozens of Iranian military sites in two waves of airstrikes in the capital, Tehran, and the center of the Islamic Republic overnight and in the morning.

In Tehran, the IDF said that it struck several weapon factories, along with sites used to develop components for ballistic missiles.

East of Tehran, strikes hit facilities where ballistic missiles were being stored, while Iranian soldiers were operating there, the military added.

The IDF also said that in recent days it has identified that Iran is firing ballistic missiles at Israel from the center of the Islamic Republic, after the military “degraded most of the regime’s capabilities to launch from western Iran.”

The latest strikes shows that both the U.S. and Israel are now attempting to cripple the production of missiles and drones in Iran, possibly because they have very much failed to completely stop the launch of such weapons from the Islamic Republic.

Speaking from Jerusalem on March 19 at his first in-person press conference since the launch of the American-Israeli war on Iran, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that “After 20 days, I can tell you — Iran today has no ability to enrich uranium, and no ability to produce ballistic missiles.”

Responding, a spokesman for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps insisted on March 20 that the Islamic Republic is still manufacturing missiles

Referencing how Iranian schools consider a 20 as a perfect score, Gen. Ali Mohammad Naeini told the state-run IRAN newspaper, “Our missile industry score is 20 and there is no concern in this regard because we are producing missiles even during war conditions, which is amazing, and there is no particular problem in stockpiling.”

“These people expect the war to continue until the enemy is completely exhausted,” the general said of the Iranian public. “This war must end when the shadow of war is lifted from the country.”

All in all, the war is clearly entering a new phase where endurance is the main element. Iran has succeeded in maintaining its ability to launch missiles and drones, and if it manages to replicate this success in the production of such weapons, it will be in a position to come out on top from a long war with the U.S. and Israel.

the outlines of iran’s map are very similar to the former yugoslavia’s, the unity of iranian people gives me optimism about iran’s future and independence though. surely that was a byte too big for a us-israel behemoth to chew through, hopefully there is a bone inside of it

hey èstòopìdòs rùskìè amateurs. watch & learn how the pros fight & win wars. iran is +3 times bigger than ucrania. we already destroyed all their navy, airforce, enrichment sites, missile, armaments industries & ports. the only reason why kharg island & 90% of their oil exports is still in 1 piece is because we deem it so. when we’re done with iran & take their oil/gas, we’re coming after your pathetic 3rd world gas station economy full force.
