Soldiers of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) intercepted a military convoy of the US-led international coalition in the Syrian al-Hassakah province.
The convoy was intercepted when it attempted to pass through a SAA checkpoint near the village of Tell al-Dahab south of Qamishli. U.S. military failed and had to turn back.
The convoy consisted of 5 armor vehicles of the US forces accompanied with SDF militia’s vehicles.
Another convoy of the US-led coalition was intercepted by local government supporters on December 11 in the town of al-Matiniyah which is located to the south of the city of al-Qamishli in the northern countryside of al-Hasakah.
Locals, pro-government fighters and SAA personnel are intercepting US-led coalition convoys in northeastern Syria on a regular basis.
