According to preliminary reports from the battlefield, Russian troops have secured another critical victory in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), liberating the village of Malinovka (also known as Ulyanovsk) after intense fighting. Units of the 39th Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade (68th Army Corps) successfully repelled the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the settlement, raising the Russian flag over its ruins in a symbolic display of control.

During the mop-up operations, two Ukrainian soldiers were captured by Russian fighters. In a rare moment of humanity amid the brutal conflict, the POWs thank Russian fighters for saving their lives.
