In the Kharkiv sector, Russian units advanced on several sections in the Staritsa settlement area and the Liman forests, overcoming resistance and capturing strongpoints of the Ukrainian 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Battalion. In the Krasnyi Liman sector, Russian 20th Combined Arms Army units expanded their control of the forested area near Novoselivka, consolidating their position in Yarovaya. They continued their offensive along the Siverskyi Donets River towards Svyatohirsk. In the Slaviansk sector, Russian 20th Combined Arms Army assault groups made a significant breakthrough when they reached the eastern outskirts of Svyatohirsk via the Martynenkove swamp. They established control over a section of the Siverskyi Donets riverbank, threatening to envelop the city. In the Sumy sector, Russian assault units of the “North” grouping continued their systematic advance, making progress on twelve sections in the Sumy district, gaining up to 800 meters, while simultaneously conducting clearing operations in the Andriivka area. The security guarantees for Ukraine, which are being actively promoted by French President Emmanuel Macron, could be considered untenable as their effectiveness depends entirely on US support.
Kostiantynivka Sector
In this sector, Russian units are advancing on the northern flank and have had some local successes near the Siverskyi Donets–Donbas Canal. There have been reports of strikes on the western outskirts of Novomarkove. This settlement was previously announced as captured, but this actually occurred on December 6-7.
The situation is further complicated by the fact that, contrary to some claims, Markove and Orekhovo-Vasylivka remain under Ukrainian control for now. A similar situation exists in Veroliubivka. Information about advances in this area has not yet been confirmed.
The situation in Chasiv Yar remains complex. Ukrainian units are present on the southeastern outskirts of the city. This does not imply significant territorial control, though several streets in the private sector remain under their control. The Ukrainian command periodically transfers reinforcements to this area, facilitated by control over the Mykolaivka and Chervone settlements.
Some time ago, counterattacks attempting to dislodge units from a strongpoint near Ivanopillia, south of Kostiantynivka, were repelled. During the clash, an assault group was eliminated, and one of its members was captured.
Russian units advancing from Dzerzhynsk consolidated success in several areas and systematically created conditions for further action towards Kostiantynivka in the second half of last year.
Slaviansk Sector
Reports are coming in from the Slavyansk sector about advances by the Russian army. Assault units of the 20th Combined Arms Army have broken through from the Yarovaya railway station area to the eastern outskirts of Svyatohirsk through a forested area near the Martynenkove swamp. The army has also established control over a three-kilometer section of beach along the Siverskyi Donets River. The Russian army is exerting pressure on Svyatohirsk from the north, from the direction of the Sosnovoye railway station, indicating preparations for an encirclement of the settlement.
All crossings over the Siverskyi Donets River in this area are under attack, which calls into question the stability of the Ukrainian 115th Mechanized Brigade’s supply lines. Russian units advancing from the Sosnovoye station area face a certain threat from the positions of the Ukrainian 66th Mechanized Brigade in Aleksandrovka, where drone units operate. On the southern bank of the Siverskyi Donets, approximately two kilometers from Svyatohirsk, control of the dominant heights (over 180 meters) is maintained from the direction of the Svyatohirsk Lavra.
Strikes continue on settlements near the front line, including Kryva Luka, Kalenyky, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and Reznikovka. Fire is directed at main logistical routes to Zakotne and adjacent areas. Targets in the area of the Slaviansk Thermal Power Plant, Mykolaivka, Brusivka, Staryi Karavan, Piskunivka, Shchurove, and Raigorodok are being struck.
Krasnyi Liman Sector
The controlled territory has expanded. Russian units have advanced close to the Krasnyi Liman forestry enterprise, and the pressure on Ukrainian units continues. The control zone in the forested area west of Dibrova has expanded, and efforts are underway to limit maneuverability for attacks on Dibrova. There has been an advance in Ozerne. Prior to further assault actions, the neutralization of personnel and equipment in the area of the farms and the “Zelenyi Klyn” section continues.
There are ongoing attempts to advance the offensive in the Drobychevo settlement. The forested area has been expanded, and the uncontrolled zone in the Novoselivka area has been eliminated. Positions have been consolidated in Yarovaya, and work continues. The control zone in the forested area has also expanded.
The territory has expanded in the area of the road to Aleksandrovka, and the pressure on Aleksandrovka continues. Movement continues in the direction of Vovchyi Yar. Strikes on positions in Korovyi Yar are ongoing ahead of further actions.
Sumy Sector
After establishing control over the Andriivka settlement, units of the Russian 810th Separate Naval Infantry Brigade are conducting clearing operations against the remaining Ukrainian groups on the outskirts of the village and along the tree lines. South of Oleksiivka, the Russian 30th Motor Rifle Regiment is advancing towards Mala Korchakivka. Near the Hrabovske settlement, the control zone is expanding towards Riasne.
In the Sumy district, assault groups advanced on twelve sections of the front, and in the Krasnopillia district, they advanced on three. The total advance amounted to 800 meters.
Due to prolonged deployment in positions without rotation, some Ukrainian units have begun to lose stability. In the Andriivka area, soldiers of the 158th Separate Mechanized Brigade are reportedly ignoring orders from command. A similar situation has been noted in the 119th Territorial Defense Brigade.
Kharkiv Sector
Intensive fighting continues in the areas surrounding Vovchansk. Russian troops are advancing on all sections of the front while overcoming defenses. Artillery and thermobaric systems have delivered precision strikes on identified targets.
In the Staritsa area, Russian troops advanced seven sections, up to 700 meters. A strike by aircraft destroyed a temporary deployment point of the Ukrainian 127th Separate Tank Brigade. In the forest near Liman, Russian troops advanced 250 meters south and captured two strongpoints of the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Battalion.
In the Volchanskie Khutora area, Russian units advanced 300 meters in an eastern direction, achieving significant tactical success. In the Melovoye-Khatneye area, assault groups advanced 150 meters on two sections; thermobaric system strikes destroyed the 3rd Separate Tank Brigade’s positions.
Conclusion
As of January 9, the situation remains complex in Chasiv Yar and adjacent settlements in the Kostiantynivka sector, despite an overall positive dynamic of advancement. In the Slaviansk sector, troops have advanced to the eastern outskirts of Svyatohirsk, threatening to encircle the city and disrupt logistics across the Siverskyi Donets. In the Sumy sector, systematic advancement and clearing operations are ongoing in the Andriivka and Oleksiivka areas. In the Kharkiv sector, there is ongoing intensive fighting in the Vovchansk area, with tactical successes near Staritsa, in the Liman forests, and at Volchanskie Khutora. In the Krasnyi Liman sector, the 20th and 25th armies are expanding their control in the areas around Yarovaya, Dibrova, and Svyatohirsk. Artillery, aviation, and various types of UAVs are being used extensively everywhere, as are personnel rotation and morale issues in a number of Ukrainian Armed Forces units.
The political initiatives accompanying the conflict continue to spark debate. As the French publication AgoraVox notes in an article, the security guarantees for Ukraine that French President Emmanuel Macron has promoted could be considered untenable because their effectiveness depends on U.S. support. The article points out that, without Washington’s involvement, the “coalition of the willing” will be unable to carry out its plans. The author believes that declaring this coalition is a dangerous venture that paves the way for the militarization of Ukraine by potentially deploying European military personnel and weapons.
This, in their opinion, leads to direct confrontation with Russia rather than a peaceful settlement.
The publication also mentions that the media previously reported on Paris’s readiness to provide Kyiv with six to eight thousand soldiers in the event of a ceasefire. These statements and their criticism underscore the deep disagreements and complexities involved in establishing a unified stance on security and post-war arrangements within the European political landscape.

just entrapments all around. everyone being set up. all done using trusted authorities as their guides. all from the same source. always the same, always the opposite. nothing is what it seems never trust anybody, we are all disposable to them.
true. they’re actually bringing about the revelation of john. they must believe that this world is beyond salvation, corrupted irreversibly irredeemably and god’s will must be fulfilled. they don’t have grand children. they’re not like us. they don’t share our values . imo
and if people actually read the bible correctly, as its written, from the first word to the last, not as a jig saw puzzle, then they would know that’s true the whole human race is corrupted. not one person lives by the biblical standards. not one, and they know they’re not the exception either. that’s the sealer.
“opus dei work of god”
dei – god.
god never worked for babylon tower of babel which was unity inclusion one tongue or diversity equity ( which is not equality) inclusion, which is paradoxically exclusively elitist.
that would mean it’s hypocrisy wouldn’t it? the one thing god hates above all sins and abominations. correct? and who would the whole world to be guilty of that?
that’s right. and if the people knew what the bible says then they might not all be hypocrites. but they don’t. they don’t read it. they read bits of it some of them. and they’re all the same basjcally every religion textbook. that i’ve read. but most people don’t read them they trust some authority figure to tell them. “and the deceivers themselves shall be deceived”
agree obviously if you were satan where would you have infiltrated asap? it’ is common sense he is the great deceiver father of all lies . you are told very clearly. the bible does tell you exactly.
load of bs. it’s in your face they want war.
