On December 6, several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online.
Ten videos show dozens of attacks with FPV suicide drones, grenade-dropping drones, and interceptor drones that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, across several directions within the special military operation zone over the last few days.
Notably, one of the drone attacks targeted a bridge across the Haichur River near the settlement of Andreevka in the Dnepropetrovsk direction. The bridge, which was already booby-trapped by Kiev forces, was completely destroyed as a result of the attack.
Another video shows an attack with TOS thermobaric rocket launchers on Ukrainian fortifications near the settlement of Vilcha in the direction of Khakriv.
Two more videos show recent airstrikes with UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs that targeted positions of Kiev forces in the city of Huliaipole in the Zaporozhye direction, and the city of Myrnohrad, also known as Dimitrov, in the Donetsk direction.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced in its daily briefing that missile, drone and artillery strikes hit “energy and transport infrastructure facilities used for the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military equipment depot, as well as temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 152 areas” over the past 24 hours.
The ministry also said that Russian air defenses intercepted during the same period shot down two American-made HIMARS projectiles and 366 fixed-wing drones.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 668 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 100,788 drones, 638 air defense systems, 26,412 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,627 multiple rocket launchers, 31,740 artillery pieces, and 48,468 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
