On February 23, several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online.
Ten of the videos show a series of drone attacks that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, including other drones, across several directions within the special military operation zone over the last few days.
Notably, one of the attacks, carried out with a Lancet loitering munition, hit a gathering of Ukrainian troops near the settlement of Novonikolaevka in the direction of Zaporizhzhia.
An addition video shows an attack with Geran-type fixed-wing suicide drones on a drone warehouse of Kiev forces in the settlement of Pravdino in the direction of Kherson.
Two more videos show recent airstrikes in the direction of Donetsk with UMPK-equipped FAB-500 guided glide bombs and Kh-38 guided missiles that targeted Ukrainian positions in the settlement of Konstantinovka i, as well as two bridges used by Kiev forces one near the same settlement, and another near the settlement of of Bogorodichnoe.
In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced in its daily briefing that missile, drone and artillery strikes targeted “transport, power, and fuel facilities used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as well as temporary deployment points of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and foreign mercenaries in 148 areas” over the last 24 hours.
The ministry also said that Russian air defenses shot down seven guided aerial bombs, 21 HIMARS rockets, one Neptune long-range cruise missile, and 541 fixed-wing drones during the same period.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 670 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 116,804 drones, 650 air defense systems, 27,835 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,671 multiple rocket launchers, 33,445 artillery pieces, and 55,079 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
