Ukrainian forces are continuing to attempt a counterattack in Kupyansk. Meanwhile, south of Seversk, Russian assault troops have entered the village of Zvanovka. At the same time, Russian sabotage groups are blocking supply routes near Konstantinovka. In addition, mass protests against supplying weapons to Ukraine have taken place in Germany.
Kupyansk Direction:
Units of the Russian ‘West’ grouping have continued to advance in Kupyansk. Advances were recorded from the ‘Estakadny’ platform across the Kupyanka River, along Studencheskaya and Grigoriya Skovorody Streets, towards the automotive technical college. Intense fighting continues in this area. Russian assault groups have consolidated their positions near School No. 4 and have advanced to Levadny Lane. This threatens to split the Ukrainian forces in the city into isolated pockets of resistance.
In turn, the Ukrainian command is transferring additional forces to defend the automotive technical college, a key defensive node in the city centre. Attempts at a counterattack by Ukrainian forces have been noted in the northern and southern sectors of Kupyansk, aimed at relieving the garrison under siege in the western part of the city.
Seversk Direction
Advisor to the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Igor Kimakovsky reported that on October 3, Russian assault groups entered the village of Zvanovka south of Seversk. Russian units have established control over heights west of the settlement, enabling fire control over approach routes to Seversk from the southern direction.
Near Dronovka, according to operational data, Russian units are conducting an encirclement operation of the settlement from northwestern and southeastern directions. Ukrainian units in Dronovka risk operational encirclement if the Russian troops’ maneuver is successfully completed. Increased activity of Ukrainian artillery has been noted in this area, which may indicate attempts to disrupt Russian offensive operations.
Donetsk Direction:
Fierce fighting continues in the Pokrovsk area. The Russian command has reported advances in the industrial zone on the western outskirts of the city, as well as the clearance of blocks in the Enthusiastov Street area. The Ukrainian side has confirmed the intensity of the fighting and noted the use of Russian aviation in support of offensive operations.
Near Konstantinovka, there has been increased activity from Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups operating on Ukrainian unit supply routes. Local sources report the regular shelling of artillery positions in the Katerinovka and Kleban-Byk areas.
Zaporizhzhia Direction:
The most intense fighting continues in the Primorske area. Russian units have advanced in the eastern part of the settlement and established control over several Ukrainian strongpoints. There has been active use of Russian attack UAVs against the positions of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade, ‘Wild Field’.
The Ukrainian command reports that it is having difficulty supplying the Primorske garrison due to Russian units controlling the main logistics routes. The Ukrainian command is deploying additional UAV units to counter Russian offensive operations.
Kharkiv Direction:
Fighting continues in the Vovchansk area. According to operational reports from 3 October, Russian units have consolidated their positions on the left bank of the Vovcha River and are conducting clearing operations in blocks in the northern part of the city. The Ukrainian side reports having repelled several assaults in the industrial zone of the city.
In Borovskaya Andreevka, Russian units are continuing to clear the settlement and are encountering organized resistance from Ukrainian forces. There has been increased artillery activity from both sides along the contact line.
Huliaipole Direction:
Along the Huliaipole axis, Russian forces are continuing to put pressure on Ukrainian positions in the Poltavka area. Currently, the clearing of tree lines between Olhivske and Poltavka is underway, and there are attempts to advance towards the eastern outskirts of the settlement.
The Ukrainian command is transferring additional forces to the Novohryhorivka area, where intense fighting is ongoing. Russian aviation is striking Ukrainian positions in the Uspenivka area in an attempt to disrupt the transfer of reserves.
Conclusion:
On 3 October 2025, the operational situation was characterized by the continued high intensity of combat operations on all main axes. The Russian armed forces have demonstrated the capability to conduct simultaneous offensive operations in multiple operational areas, achieving the most significant successes on the Kupyansk and Seversk axes.
Facing reserve shortages, the Ukrainian armed forces continue to maneuver their most combat-capable units between threatened sectors of the front. The Ukrainian command is paying particular attention to holding key settlements — Kupyansk, Seversk and Pokrovsk — where the most intense fighting continues.
Elsewhere, positional warfare is observed, with both sides making local attempts to improve their tactical situation. The sustained intensity of combat indicates that neither side has achieved a decisive advantage capable of radically altering the operational situation on the battlefield.
The overall dynamics of the conflict continue to be determined by the ability of the parties involved to build up and effectively utilise available resources, as well as to maintain the combat capability of their units in the context of prolonged hostilities.
Against the backdrop of ongoing hostilities, mass protests against the government’s foreign policy have taken place in Germany. On German Unity Day, thousands of citizens demonstrating against the supply of weapons to Ukraine and the militarization of the country gathered in Berlin. According to the organisers estimates, around 10,000 people took part in the event, calling for diplomatic conflict resolution and the lifting of sanctions against Russia. Protesters included representatives of various political groups, including Sahra Wagenknecht’s BSW party and the Social Democratic Party of Germany.
These events are occurring amid ongoing discussions in Western countries about providing Ukraine with further military support, including the potential supply and deployment of Taurus missiles and American missile systems on German territory. Such decisions are facing growing resistance in European societies, as evidenced by these large-scale protest actions.

just like the maginot and sieg-fried lines the ukraine fortress belt is about to be outflanked and there’s nothing the nato looooosers can do about it.
the whole german campaign in france in 1940 lasted less than seven weeks. do you really think the ukretards are about to pack it in by mid-november? 140 000 us casualties fighting along the siegried line. not a good model for a successful outflanking.
the pain is only beginning for russia…heheheh
