On September 27, several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online.
Nine of the videos show dozens of attacks with FPV suicide drones, grenade-dropping drones, and interceptor drones that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, across several directions within the special military operation zone over the last few days.
Two addition videos show strikes with Lancet loitering munitions and Geran-type fixed-wing suicide drones that targeted a Ukrainian drone launch and control site near the settlement of Pogoreltsy in Chernihiv and a power substation supplying Kiev forces somewhere in the same direction.
Two other videos show rocket attacks that targeted Ukrainian fortifications near the settlement of Volchansk in the Kharkiv direction and on the right bank of the Dnipro in the direction of Kherson.
The last two videos show airstrikes with UMPK-equipped FAB-500 guided glide bombs that hit positions of Kiev forces near the city of Konstantinovka in the Donetsk direction and in the outskirts of the city of Kherson.
In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced in its daily briefing that missile, drone and artillery strikes hit “the traction substations used for the railway weapons and military hardware supply to combat areas in Donbass, long-range unmanned aerial vehicles storage and launch areas, as well as temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 138 areas” over the last 24 hours.
The ministry also said that Russian air defenses shot down during the same period two guided aerial bombs and 131 fixed-wing drones over the special military operation zone.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Kiev forces have lost 667 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 86,900 drones, 631 air defense systems, 25,261 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,592 multiple rocket launchers, 29,985 artillery pieces, and 42,715 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
