From August 30th to September 5th, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation conducted a series of intensive military operations across Ukraine, combining long-range precision strikes with incremental territorial advances on the ground.The Russian Ministry of Defence summed up the interim results.

The Southern troop grouping announced the liberation of two settlements in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). They include Fedorovka and Markovo. According to the field reports, the liberated village of Fedorovka is located south of Seversk. It highlights the attempts of the Russian military cut and encircle the main Ukrainian strongholds of Konstantinovka and Seversk, destroying Ukrainian defense southeast of Slavyansk. These gains follow a pattern of slow, grinding pressure against Ukrainian defensive lines.

Meanwhile, offensive operations of the Vostok (East) grouping resulted in control over the villages of Kamyshevakha in the DPR and Novosyolovka in Dnipropetrovsk region. A significant strategic gain accompanying these advances was that Russian forces had “fully completed the liberation” of all DPR territory within the “Vostok” group’s area of operations, specifically the area south of the Vovcha River.

Beyond the main frontlines, Russian security forces reported thwarting several attempted incursions.
