On October 19, several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online.
11 of the videos show dozens of attacks with FPV suicide drones, grenade-dropping drones, and interceptor drones that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, across several directions within the special military operation zone over the last few days.
BukovelNotably, two of the attacks destroyed Ukrainian-made Bukovel counter-drone electronic warfare systems which were deployed in the Kharkiv direction.
Another video shows a missile strike, likely carried out with an Iskander-M tactical ballistic missile, that targeted an American-made M142 HIMARS multiple launch rocket system of Kiev forces that was deployed near the settlement of Kuzminskoye in the Chernihiv direction. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the strike destroyed the launcher along with two support vehicles and eliminated some 15 Ukrainian troops.
One more video shows an attack with Tornado-S guided artillery rockets on Ukrainian positions in the settlement of Volchansk in Kharkiv.
Two other videos show airstrikes with UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs on Ukrainian positions in the city of Konstantinovka in the Donetsk direction and close to the settlement of Novoe in the direction of Zaporizhzhia.
In addition, the Russian MoD announced in its daily briefing that missile, drone and artillery strikes hit “the transport infrastructure that supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine as well as temporary deployment areas of the Ukrainian armed formations in the 143 areas” over the past 24 hours.
The ministry added that Russian air defenses shot down during the same period two guided aerial bombs, three HIMARS projectiles, and 323 fixed-wing drones.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 667 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 91,200 drones, 633 air defense systems, 25,575 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,604 multiple rocket launchers, 30,590 artillery pieces, and 44,349 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
