The Houthis (Ansar Allah) launched another missile at Israel on May 3, marking their fourth attack in little over 24 hours.
In a statement, Houthi military spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree said that the group launched a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile at “a military target” to the south of the city of Tel Aviv in central Israel, claiming that the “missile successfully reached its target” and that “defense systems failed to intercept it.”
“The Yemeni Armed Forces will continue to support and back the oppressed Palestinian people until the aggression on Gaza stops and the siege is lifted,” the spokesman warned.
Hypersonic missiles travel and maneuver at least five times faster than the speed of sound at low altitudes in the atmosphere which makes them difficult to intercept.
The Palestine-2 is a two-stage solid fuel missile that was first unveiled and used by the Houthis in an attack against Israel last September.
The group claims that the missile has a range of over 2,150 kilometers and a top speed equivalent to 16 times the speed of sound.
Amid the attack, sirens sounded in the city of Jerusalem and the surrounding area, along with several southern West Bank settlements and Israeli settlements near the Dead Sea. Later, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced that the missile was successfully intercepted by air defenses. There were no reports of casualties or damage.
The Houthis launched two ballistic missiles, one of which was a Palestine-2, at northern Israel on May 2. The missiles targeted the Ramat David Air Base and the port city of Haifa in northern Israel. The IDF said that both missiles were intercepted.
Also on May 2, the IDF announced that a drone launched at Israel “from the east” was shot down by the Israeli Air Force. No sirens sounded “according to protocol,” the military said in a brief statement. The term “from the east” typically refers to drones launched by the Houthis from Yemen.
It’s worth noting that a series of United States strikes targeted Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen, including the capital, Sanaa, and the western province of al-Hodeidah.
The United States Central Command, which is responsible for U.S. military forces in the Middle East, confirmed that it was operating “24/7” against the Houthis, posting videos of warplanes taking off from aircraft carriers USS Harry S. Truman and USS Carl Vinson to the X social network. The command did not, however, provide any details.
Since March 18, when the IDF resumed its offensive in Gaza, the Houthis have launched some 26 ballistic missiles and several suicide drones at Israel. Only around half of them triggered sirens in the country and were shot down, while the others fell short.
Three days earlier, the United States military resumed strikes on Yemen on orders from President Donald Trump, who said at the time that the large-scale operation was launched in response to the group’s renewed attacks on Israel-affiliated shipping in the Red Sea. The British military joined the operation earlier this week.
The U.S. military says that it has so far struck more than 800 targets of the Houthis. The death toll from the operation is thought to be close to 250. Despite all of this, the Houthis remain undeterred and their military capabilities appear to be growing again, as evident by their increased attacks on Israel.

i don’t think the houthies really have hypersonic missiles.
either that or hypersonics aren’t as indefensable as advertised.
i don’t think they have hit a single target yet, regardless of their claims.
they shooting and shooting but there is no any result
for each missiles the houthis fire the c*nts deploy their f35s for bombraids at an expense far far more than the costs for the houthis. the houthis should receive a number of anti-aircraft missiles which would allow them to take down a few of the c*nts f35 which would reduce the c*nts willingness to continue their bombraids. thus, russia should step up and provide the required missiles!
can’t wait to see jews burning to death guys! we are almost there! the chosen people should lead by example and just take it like jesus did.
i went from supporting these jews to questioning these jews to not believing these jews to hating these jews to absolutely want to see them burning to death jews.
