The Russian Defense Ministry reports another successful strike by the Russian Armed Forces against the Dolgintsevo airfield near Krivoy Rog:
Russian UAV operators launched a strike at AFU aircraft parking area with the Lancet loitering munition near Dolgintsevo airfield (Dnepropetrovsk region).
As a result of the direct hit, the AFU Su-25 aircraft was eliminated. The destruction is confirmed by the objective control footage.
As a few days earlier, the target there was again an Su-25 attack aircraft, which had refueled a refueling tanker shortly before its arrival.
Since the fall of 2023, four more Su-25s and two MiG-29 fighters have been destroyed by the Russian armed forces at this airfield. This number includes only documented episodes of the Ukrainian Army’s aircraft being disabled.
The footage also shows improvised shelters with stretched nets to protect the aircraft, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces erected after previous losses. However, in practice, these measures proved unsuccessful.
