In Video: Russian Missile Fell On Village In Russian Voronezh Region

On January 2, one of Russian missiles accidentally fell in the village of Petropavlovka in the Russian border Voronezh region. The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the accident, claiming that an abnormal discharge of ammunition occurred during the flight of a Russian military aircraft over a residential area. 

The Russian military did not disclose what kind of ammunition it was or any other details of the incident. The accident result in no casualties. According to the local authorities, at least six private buildings were damaged. An investigation is underway, emergency services are working on the spot.

‘On January 2, at about 9:00 a.m., during the flight of a VKS aircraft over the settlements of Petropavlovsk in the Voronezh Region, an emergency landing of an aviation munition occurred, there were no casualties. Six private buildings were damaged. ‘ the local authorities reported.

The local residents were evacuated to temporary accommodation facilities. The local authorities assured that all damaged houses will be restored.

In April 2023, another Russian missile accidentally fell from the Su-34 aircraft when it was flying over Belgorod. The accident also resulted in no casualties but to some damage to several buildings. Since then, there were reports that seval heavy FAB bombs fell in the Belgorod region; but they were not confirmed by any officials or by any footage.
