Ukrainian nationalism turns against the Ukrainians themselves. Ukrainian refugees from the eastern and central regions, who mostly speak Russian, are insulted and beaten in the Western Ukraine.
The videos show one of numerous incidents that took place in Western Ukraine. Russian-speaking Ukrainians who fled the war were not welcomed by the ‘true patriots’ in a bus. A young man was beaten by a group of men because he spoke Russian. His mother tried to protect him but was also hit.
