On November 10, a large blast rocked the Syrian town of Suluk in the northern Raqqa countryside, which was occupied by Turkish forces last month.
The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that a booby-trapped car exploded at the town’s main street, while opposition sources claimed that the explosion was a result of a small improvised explosive device (IED).
According to initial reports, at least seven people were killed or injured in the explosion, which also caused heavy material damage.

Suluk is located 18km to the southeast of the border town of Tell Abyad, whose countryside has been a target of a series of explosions.
Last week, at least ten people, including Turkish-backed militants, were killed and more than 20 others were injured when a booby-trapped car exploded in the center of Tell Abyad.
Opposition activists claim that these attacks were orchestrated by the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). However, no evidence backing these claims has been presented, so far.
