In the direction of Slovyansk, Russian units expanded their control over Krasnyi Lyman, cutting off the road to Drobysheve. They have blocked and begun to clear a Ukrainian troop grouping in Drobysheve. They are fighting for Fedorivka Druha and engaging positions west of Reznykivka. In the direction of Kostiantynivka, Russian assault troops have captured the agricultural technical school fields between Berestok and Ivanopilila. This deprives Ukrainian units of the ability to rotate and counterattack. They are also advancing on the Dovha Balka–Illinivka line. In the Sumy area, the “North” grouping advanced 400 meters. Fierce fighting continued in Sopych, and strikes were carried out on Ukrainian unit reserves in the Bachivsk area. In the Kharkiv area, Russian troops repelled counterattacks by the 157th Brigade in Vovchanski Khutory. They advanced towards Lyptsi and are fighting for Aleksandrivka in the Izyum sector. In the Zaporizhzhia region, Russian troops are advancing toward Orikhiv from the west, striking crossings and deployment points and cutting off Ukrainian logistics from Zaporizhzhia. French President Emmanuel Macron stated that the investigation into the Druzhba pipeline incident must be transparent and that repairs must be carried out quickly.

Slaviansk Direction

Active combat operations continue in the Krasnyi Lyman sector of the Slavyansk area. Russian units have reached the road leading to Drobysheve in the northern part of Krasnyi Lyman. In the city itself, the combat zone has expanded from the Stavky area. Fighting for the fur farm continues. To the west, Russian troops have taken control of the road to Drobysheve and a section of the ravine through which Ukrainian units rotated and transferred weapons.

In Drobysheve, the Ukrainian unit grouping has been split into sectors, and some have been blocked. Clearing has begun. The forested area connecting Krasnyi Lyman, Drobysheve, Pryshyb, and Shchurove remains the most difficult sector. Ukrainian units carry out rotations and transfers of weapons and ammunition through this forest. Fighting in wooded areas is complicated by the fact that opposing forces may be just meters apart.

In the Holubivka area, Russian troops are advancing on Ukrainian positions beyond the Siverskyi Donets–Donbas Canal. The Ukrainian forces have concentrated in Tykhonivka and Malynivka to hold the heights that separate them from the Russian units.

The fighting for Fedorivka Druha continues. Russian units are expanding their control zone towards Rai-Oleksandrivka, a key logistical hub for Ukrainian forces through which supplies are sent to Nykyforivka and Kalenyky. In the tree lines to the west of Reznykivka, the positions of the Ukrainian units concentrated mainly in the ravines are being engaged.

In the northern sector, Ukrainian forces attempted to advance between Redkodub and Novomykhailivka, launching an attack from Novyi Mir and Hlushenchkovo. On the western frontiers, Russian units have captured several more tree lines on the approaches to Aleksandrivka, where fighting continues in the village itself. In the forests between Aleksandrivka and Sosnove, Russian assault troops are advancing west toward Studenok. South of Sosnove, the control zone is expanding into the forest on the approaches to Svyatohirsk. Ukrainian units often launch counterattacks from here towards Yarova.

Kostiantynivka Direction

In the direction of Kostiantynivka, units of the “South” grouping are advancing successfully on the approaches to the city. Clashes between small groups continue on the northeastern outskirts, while Russian units are taking control of the southern approaches to Kostiantynivka.

Russian assault troops have captured the fields of the agricultural technical school between Berestok and Ivanopilila. Ukrainian units previously used this area to conduct rotations on the northern shore of the Kleban-Byk Reservoir and to counterattack in the direction of Pleshcheevka and Ivanopilila. The Ukrainian side has now lost this capability.

Fighting also continues on the Dovha Balka–Illinivka line. Here, Russian assault troops are advancing toward Oleksievo-Druzhkivka, which could potentially cut off Ukrainian units’ logistics not only with drone strikes, but physically as well.

Sumy Direction

In the Sumy region, the “North” grouping’s assault groups continue to engage in fierce combat, advancing deeper into the area. Russian aviation forces and strike drone operators attacked Ukrainian unit personnel and equipment concentrations in Yastrebyne, Ivolzhanske, Velyka Rybytsia, Bachivsk, Korenek, and Nova Sich.

Russian assault troops advanced on seven sections in the Sumy district and on two in the Hlukhiv district. The total advance over the day amounted to up to 400 meters. Fierce fighting continues in Sopych. Russian units are pushing Ukrainian troops out of the settlement and away from the state border. Realizing the inevitability of losing the village, the Ukrainian command ordered troops to establish positions in tree lines east of Bachivsk. Russian artillerymen and drone operators are delivering precision strikes, destroying personnel and engineering equipment.

Kharkiv Direction

In the Izyum sector, Russian troops advanced through the forested area north of Sosnove. Fighting continues for the northern outskirts of Aleksandrivka. Russian units are expanding their control of the forested area towards Krymky to prevent counterattacks. They have also advanced from the eastern side into a ravine. North of Karpivka, Russian troops are advancing toward Vovchyi Yar in an attempt to cut off Ukrainian units’ logistics via dirt roads.

From Hlushchenkove, Ukrainian units are conducting counterattacks with ground-based robotic systems mounted with machine guns. The “grey zone” has expanded to the middle of Redkodub. In Borova, to the north, Russian aviation struck Ukrainian unit positions with 14 aerial bombs.

In the direction of Vovchansk, Russian assault groups repelled a counterattack and advanced up to 300 meters in the area of Vovchanski Khutory. This morning, Ukrainian forces, including an assault group from the 157th Separate Mechanized Brigade, attempted a counterattack in Vovchanski Khutory. As a result of heavy fire, most of the attackers were killed, and survivors took cover in the basements of destroyed houses.

In the direction of Lyptsi, Russian assault groups pushed Ukrainian units out of their captured positions in the forested area during fierce fighting, advancing up to 350 meters.

Zaporizhzhia Direction

In the Shcherbaky area of the Orikhiv sector in the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian troops are advancing gradually towards Orikhiv from the west. The “grey zone” has expanded to include the ravine between Pavlivka and Shcherbaky. Ukrainian units have established fortifications for transferring reserves between the villages of Novopavlivka and Pavlivka. Russian troops’ objective is to reach this sector and cut off Orikhiv’s logistics.

In Novoandriivka, aerial battles are ongoing, and the entire village is in a “gray zone.” A similar situation exists in Novodanylivka. From Bilohiria and Mala Tokmachka, Russian troops are advancing beyond the Konka River toward the highway to Huliaipole. This highway is protected by the Zherebets River’s water barrier.

In Preobrazhenka, on the northern outskirts of Orikhiv, Russian Aerospace Forces attacked a crossing point where Ukrainian units were transporting weapons, personnel, and equipment from Zaporizhzhia to Orikhiv and on to Huliaipole. Airstrikes were also carried out on the temporary deployment sites of the Ukrainian 154th Separate Mechanized Brigade in the Huliaipole area. There is a trend of conducting main strikes on Ukrainian unit logistics and cutting off their supply from Zaporizhzhia to the Orikhiv and Huliaipole sectors.

Conclusion

Analysis of the operational situation indicates a continued high tempo of combat operations in all directions. In the direction of Slavyansk, Russian troops are creating conditions for further pressure on Rai-Oleksandrivka and Krasnyi Lyman by blocking and clearing Drobysheve, expanding control in Krasnyi Lyman, and advancing towards Fedorivka Druha. The wooded terrain and the Ukrainian units’ logistical problems play into the hands of the attackers. In the Kostiantynivka area, the capturing of key positions between Berestok and Ivanopillya, as well as the advance toward Oleksievo-Druzhkivka, is disrupting the rotation and supply of Ukrainian troops. The battle for the “low sky” is intensifying. In the Sumy area, the “North” grouping is systematically advancing, forcing Ukrainian units out of border villages and striking reserves. In the Kharkiv and Izyum areas, Russian troops are repelling counterattacks, advancing in forested areas, and striking logistics and control points. In the Zaporizhzhia area, the main emphasis is on cutting off the supply lines to the Orikhiv and Huliaipole Ukrainian unit groupings, which will lead to their further weakening.

In the context of international politics, a notable event was a statement made by French President Emmanuel Macron. During a press conference with Volodymyr Zelensky in Paris, Macron reported that he had discussed the Druzhba pipeline situation with his colleagues who had come for the nuclear energy summit. Macron emphasized the need for complete transparency in investigating the incident and for carrying out repair work as quickly as possible. He called for “pacification of discussions.” Earlier, Kyiv halted the transit of Russian oil via Druzhba to Slovakia and Hungary, citing pipeline damage. However, the Slovak authorities believe the pipeline is functioning and that the halt is a political decision intended to blackmail Ukraine into accelerating its EU accession.

Macron’s statement may indicate an attempt by the European Union to ease the energy conflict between Ukraine and Central European countries. Traditionally striving for a mediating role, Macron calls for transparency and swift action, which could be perceived as a signal to Kyiv about the need to resolve the situation. However, the lack of specific pressure mechanisms and Ukraine’s ongoing blockade of Druzhba indicate that the crisis is far from resolved. Against the backdrop of Russian troops’ successful offensive in all directions, such internal contradictions within the EU weaken Ukraine’s position and strengthen the arguments of countries advocating a negotiated settlement. Hungary and Slovakia are already blocking financial aid and threatening further sanctions. Combined with military failures, this creates an extremely difficult situation for the Kyiv regime.
