- On October 8, Iraqi groups attacked Turkish Bashiqa base in the Zelkan area with several rockets;
- On October 8, Iraqi warplanes struck ISIS hideouts in the Zughetoun Valley southwest of Kirkuk. Three ISIS members were killed;
- The Iraqi parliament has tasked the committees of the defense and foreign affairs to cooperate with the federal and regional governments to investigate the recent Iranian attacks on the Kurdistan Region.
