A brief overview of the recent developments in Syria:
- After the liberation of Sakhar and Tal Sakhar, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) took control of Mushairifa and Jaysa;
- Syrian and Russian warplanes reportedly carried out over 100 strikes on militants in northern Hama and southern Idlib;
- Militants launched rockets at Russia’s Hmeimim airbase, but hit a civilian target near it. 2 civilians were killed and 4 others were wounded;
- An explosion was reported near the Turkish town of Rihaniyeh on the Syrian border;
- At least one person was killed and five others wre wounded as a result of motorcycle explosion in Afrin city;
- ISIS cells launched mortar shells on Hawaij Dityab.
