Miltiary Situation In Northern Syria On October 13, 2019 (Map Update)

• Clashes between Turkey-led forces and the SDF continue in Ras al-Ayn. The Syrian Democratic Forces recaptured a half of the town;
• Turkish Leopard 2A4 battle tanks were spotted in northern Syria;
• The Turkish military deployed foalting bridge equipment near the Sajur river north of Manbij;
• The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) concentrated a notable force near Manbij. Some sources specilate that the SAA may take control of it to prevent a Turkish adavnce;
• Turkey-led forces are storming Tell Abyad. Clashes are ongoing in the vicinity of the town.
