Civilian residents of Donbass are shelled by Ukrainian and NATO artillery, hunted by Ukrainian drones with explosives, wounded by prohibited anti-personnel Petal mines. Unfortunately, the number of civilian casualties is growing almost every day.
According to the official data provided by the DPR Representative Office in the Joint Center for Coordination and Communication, 9205 civilians were killed, including 233 children, since 2014. 13711 others were wounded, including 851 children.
During 718 days of escalation, which began with massive shelling of civilian areas by Ukrainian Nazis before the beginning of the Russian special military operation on February 24, 2022:
- 4831 civilians were killed, including 142 children;
- 5892 other civilians were wounded, including 382 children;
- 145 civilians, including 10 children, were wounded by prohibited Petal mines. Three of them died of their wounds.
From February 17, 2022, to February 5, 2024, 17164 civilian infrastructure and residential facilities damaged or destroyed, including:
- 202 medical facilities,
- 701 educational facilities,
- 1423 facilities for various social services;
- 114 facilities of critical infrastructure,
- 1011 facilities of power, water, gas supply.
In total, since February 17, 2022, the Ukrainian army launched 176382 shells of various caliber, including 456 HIMARS missiles. Most of the shells (55135) were of the NATO 155 mm caliber, including 2013 of prohibited cluster munitions.
This is a graphic statistic that shows how the terrorist Kiev regime uses military equipment supplied by NATO countries. A large part of it is used to kill and wound civilians in the DPR. Unfortunately, civilians in the Luhansk People’s Republic are also often targeted by NATO systems, despite the fact that Kiev lost control of the entire territory of the former Ukrainian Luhansk region.
