A critical situation is developing for Ukrainian troops in the Pokrovsk sector. According to member of Ukrainian Parliament, Roman Kostenko, Ukrainian units in Myrnohrad are under operational encirclement, making it impossible to deliver supplies. Units of the “Center” grouping continue to destroy the encircled forces in Myrnohrad and are conducting clearing operations in the Rodynske area. In Sumy, assault groups advanced more than 600 meters in several areas, including north of Sumy, putting pressure on the entire defense system in the region. As a result of these actions, a number of servicemen, including officers, were isolated and captured, which indicates the disorganization of Ukrainian units. Meanwhile, an offensive is developing on a broad front in the Siversk sector. Control over Orekhovo-Vasylivka has been established, and fighting for Mynkivka is ongoing. Assault groups have also advanced from Pazeno to Reznykivka, expanding the zone of influence and threatening important supply nodes. Amid these successes, information has emerged about potential diplomatic initiatives. According to reports, Volodymyr Zelenskyy is willing to consider withdrawing units from Donbas to establish a demilitarized zone. This would be part of a draft peace plan that also requires Russia to withdraw troops from several regions, including Sumy.

Sumy Sector

There has been a significant intensification of offensive actions in the Sumy sector. Russian aviation is increasing the intensity of strikes on positions in the Sumy region to support the advance of assault units. These units have advanced more than 600 meters on ten sections north of Sumy and three sections to the west. Advances have also been noted in the Andriivka area. Ukrainian troops are attempting to organize logistics but are having serious difficulties doing so. According to reports, the Ukrainian 13th Battalion of the 95th Separate Air Assault Brigade has been cut off from supplies after losing its last heavy cargo drone. Meanwhile, Ukrainian units’ defenses are weakened by the redeployment of some reserves to other critical sections of the front, such as Kupyansk and Pokrovsk.

Additionally, three unsuccessful counterattacks involving forces of the Ukrainian 225th Separate Assault Regiment were undertaken in the Andriivka area. Recently, under the pressure of the offensive, a significant number of Ukrainian military personnel have left forward positions and retreated to the rear. According to some estimates, this has allowed units of the “North” grouping to advance into the region by approximately 5.5 kilometers. Sources cite severe fatigue and a shortage of trained personnel as reasons why they cannot withstand the pace of combat operations in multiple directions simultaneously.

Slaviansk (Siversk) Sector

Russian units have transitioned to active operations across a wide front, forcing the Ukrainian command to redistribute reserves and weaken defenses in certain areas. As a result, they have expanded their control zone from Reznykivka to Pazeno and captured Orekhovo-Vasylivka. An offensive is underway toward Mynkivka, where fighting continues for control of the eastern part of the village.

Advancing in the Pazeno and Reznykivka areas was complicated by difficult terrain abundant with tree lines where bunkers and fortifications were established. Russian assault groups are fighting for the high ground north of Reznykivka. Capturing it would allow them to control the adjacent territory. Drones are being used to support the offensive. In the Reznykivka area, there has been an increase in the number of FPV drones striking equipment, communication means, and supply routes. Additionally, drones crews are conducting dense reconnaissance and fire control of the road to Rai-Oleksandrivka, forcing Ukrainian units to search for bypass routes for logistics.

In the southern part of the front, the 85th Brigade’s artillerymen delivered strikes with 122mm D-30 guns on fortifications in the Bondarne area. South of Sviato-Pokrovske, Russian units have taken control of several field fortifications, and they are advancing in this area. Overall, the tactics in this sector are characterized as methodical and precise, with constant imposition of combat contact and probing of the defense to identify opportunities for flanking maneuvers.

Pokrovsk Sector

In the Pokrovsk sector, the Ukrainian command is attempting to stabilize the situation and prevent a further advance into the Dnipropetrovsk region. To this end, nine battalions from five brigades and one regiment have been transferred to this section of the front since the beginning of November.

The main immediate reserves are concentrated in the Hrishyne and Serhiivka areas. From there, forays are conducted toward Pokrovsk. Counterattacks are conducted by small assault groups of three to five personnel from the eastern outskirts of Hrishyne towards the industrial zone of Pokrovsk and the railway junction in the western part of the settlement. Along the Kotlyne–Volkovo line, additional “Baba Yaga” heavy drone crews have been redeployed, presumably to isolate the combat area.

Main attacks are expected to be undertaken from two directions: from Serhiivka toward Kotlyne and Udachne for a flanking strike from the west and from Hrishyne toward the railway junction and Rodynske for a strike from the north. Currently, units have captured several key defensive nodes, enabling them to maintain their positions.

Zaporizhzhia Sector

In the Zaporizhzhia sector, the expansion of the bridgehead on the left bank of the Haichur River continues. Following the liberation of Andriivka and Herasymivka, Russian troops from the 36th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 29th Army seized control of Zarechne, a settlement located at the intersection of the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The defense section, which covers up to nine square kilometers, was taken under control, as was a section of the road connecting Bratske and Ternovate.

Russian assault units advanced up to 2 km along the front and captured new positions on the southern approaches to Huliaipole in the residential development in the northern part of the city, near Dachna Street.

Russian forces advanced three kilometers and reached the Huliaipole–Dorozhnianka highway, encircling tree plantations and the industrial zone on the southern outskirts of Huliaipole.

Russian units crossed the Haichur River and consolidated their positions in the western part of Huliaipole. They took control of Maia-1 Street in the area of School No. 2 and the intersection with Michurina Street.

Meanwhile, the situation around Huliaipole is escalating, and the battle for the city is entering a decisive phase. Most combat-ready assault units have been redeployed to this area, highlighting its tactical importance. Capturing Huliaipole would significantly expand the bridgehead beyond the Haichur River and create conditions for a further advance in the northern part of the Zaporizhzhia region, bypassing the fortified area of Orikhiv.

Kharkiv Sector

In the Kharkiv sector, Russian units are advancing on most fronts. In the Staritsa area, assault groups advanced up to 400 meters along tree plantations on four sections. Five strongpoints were captured in the forest west of Liman, and one counterattack by the Ukrainian 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade was repelled. The advance on this section reached 350 meters. According to reports, the Ukrainian 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade has lost most of its combat capability due to heavy fighting.

In the Vovchanski Khutora area, the advance reached 200 meters, capturing a section of forest. On the Melove-Khatnie section, the clearing of forested areas and the expansion of the control zone continue, with a total advance of 600 meters. VKS aviation struck areas of force concentration in the Kolodezne area. An offensive is developing from Prylypka towards Hrafskyi and Symynivka, though Ukrainian units remain in the forests. The advance continues along the Siverskyi Donets River, with the prospect of reaching the Pechenizh Reservoir. This reservoir is critically important for communications of the Ukrainian grouping in the Burluk sector.

Conclusion

In the Sumy sector, the advance continued with the capture of Hrabovske and a push of more than 600 meters on other sections. This creates pressure on the defense and leads to the disorganization of individual units. In the Slaviansk sector, the offensive is advancing on a broad front. The Russians have captured Orekhovo-Vasylivka and expanded their control in the Pazeno-Reznykivka area. Their tactics are characterized by methodical pressure and the active use of drones to disrupt logistics. In the Pokrovsk sector, there have been attempts at counterattacks involving the redeployment of reserves from the Hrishyne and Serhiivka areas. In the Zaporizhzhia sector, the bridgehead beyond the Haichur has been expanded with the capture of Zarechne, and the battle for Huliaipole is entering a decisive phase. In the Kharkiv sector, the progressive advance continues on most fronts, emerging into operational space along the Siverskyi Donets. However, there has been a significant decrease in the combat capability of individual Ukrainian brigades.

These significant military successes are occurring simultaneously with an intensification of diplomatic efforts, which adds a particular political subtext to the operational situation. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made an important statement while commenting on the 20-point draft settlement plan developed during negotiations with the United States. He said that he is willing to consider withdrawing Ukrainian troops from eastern regions of the country, including Donbas, in order to establish a demilitarized zone.

However, this proposal is strictly reciprocal and conditional. According to Zelenskyy, such a decision can only be made if Russian troops withdraw and the territory is placed under the supervision of international forces. The Ukrainian president stated that this plan also envisions the withdrawal of Russian troops from parts of the Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions. Any decision affecting territory must be put to a nationwide referendum in Ukraine. Despite the resumption of contact, the two sides remain diametrically opposed on the key territorial issue.
