Over Hundred Russian Drones And Hypersonic Missiles Hit Ukraine Overnight (Videos)

Multiple hypersonic missiles and over a hundred suicide drones attacked targets in Ukraine over the night of November 14 and 15.

In a statement, the Ukrainian Air Force said that three Kinzhal air-launched hypersonic ballistic missiles and 135 suicide drones, mostly from the Geran-type, were launched from Russia. As usual, the air force claimed that most of the projectiles were intercepted by air defenses or jammed by electronic warfare means. However, impacts were reported in at least 13 locations.

Blasts were heard in the regions of Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Donetsk, Kharkiv, as well as Sumy, as in the capital, Kiev, itself.

Ukrainian media reports from earlier on November 14, also reported the launch of a Zircon hypersonic cruise missile from a ground-based system at a target in Sumy.

The Russian Ministry of Defense said in a briefing on November 15 that missile, drone and artillery strikes hit “a military airfield, an energy facility that maintains the Ukrainian defense industry, a workshop for the production of uncrewed surface vehicles, assembly and storage areas of long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, communication facilities of the Ukrainian Main Directorate of Intelligence, temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 152 areas” over the past 24 hours.

Also overnight, Ukraine carried out another attack on Russian territories, launching at least 63 drones, according to the Russian MoD.

In a statement, the ministry said that 25 drones were intercepted over the region of Ryazan, 17 over the region of Rostov, eight over the region of Tambov, and five over the region of Voronezh. Two drones were also shot down over each of the regions of Belgorod, Saratov, and Lipetsk. Three more drones were intercepted over the regions of Tula, Samara and the Republic of Tatarstan.

No casualties or damage were reported by Russian media as a result of the Ukrainian drone attack, which was apparently a complete failure.

In recent months, the Russian military began to carry out group strikes against Ukraine more frequently. These strikes also became more effective.

The rate of Ukrainian attacks also increased in the last few months. However, they are in fact becoming less and less effective than before.
