During the last week, the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) released several statements providing a look at their recent attacks on Turkey-led forces in the Afrin region.
- On November 26, 4 members of the Hamza Division were killed and 2 others were injured an explosion on the road between the city of Afrin and the town of Basuta.
- On November 26, the YPG destroyed a vehicle of the Levant Front with an anti-tank guided missile near the village of Gubele.
- On November 24, YPG members killed 2 Sham Legion fighters and destroyed their vehicle near the village of Birj Heyder.
Overnight on November 29, the Syrian Arab army (SAA) repelled an attack by the al-Qaeda-affilated Wa Harid al-Muminin operations room in nrothern Lattakia.
On November 28, the SAA uncovered weapons, including anti-tank guided missiles, which had left behind by ISIS in the area of al-Safa. Separtely, Russian forces shot down a militant UAV near Hmeimim airbase in the province of Lattakia.
The US-led coalition is reportedly setting up an observation post in the village of Bir Ashiq in northern Raqqah.
