Overview of Russian-Ukrainian Strikes. Polish Foreign Ministry: Kyiv Ready to Fight for Three More Years

Russia and Ukraine exchanged mutual strikes on November 11-12, 2025, with the scale of strikes being roughly equal. According to statements from the Russian Ministry of Defense, 130 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were destroyed over Russian territory. In turn, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that 138 attack UAVs were launched against Ukrainian territory, of which 102 were shot down/suppressed.

The Russian armed forces carried out a series of strikes on targets within Ukraine, primarily concentrated in the country’s southern and central regions. The most intense attacks targeted the Dnipropetrovsk region, where warehouses, service stations, and supply lines in Ternivka, Vasylivka, and Dmitrivka were hit. In Vasylivka, a local feed mill was also seriously damaged. Additionally, strikes hit Arzys in the Odesa region, damaging a locomotive depot—an important railway hub for supplying the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Significant strikes were recorded in the Sumy region. According to reports, drones, including “Italmas” models, attacked an industrial zone in the city of Sumy, where Ukrainian Armed Forces armored vehicles and artillery systems were reportedly deployed.

A strike was also carried out on the Sloviansk Thermal Power Plant in Nikolaivka, which led to power outages in Kramatorsk and Sloviansk, impacting the vital infrastructure of these cities. Explosions were also reported in Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, as well as in the Chernihiv and Kherson regions.

Regarding strikes on Russia, according to information from the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, attacks were carried out using FP-5 “Flamingo” and “Bars” type missiles, as well as kamikaze drones, targeting oil infrastructure in Feodosia (Crimea) and the hangars at the Kirovskoye airfield, where, according to some reports, “Orion” reconnaissance-strike UAVs are based.

The mutual strikes and hostilities continue against the backdrop of a lack of progress in peace negotiations, which are suspended due to mutual accusations and the parties’ rigid conditions, making the prospects for a swift end to the conflict uncertain.

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski stated that Ukraine plans to wage war for another three years and needs increased weapons supplies. This statement was a clear call for unified and long-term support from the West. However, this appeal stands in sharp contrast to the domestic political reality within Poland itself.

The rhetoric and actions of Polish President Karol Nawrocki, such as emphasizing painful historical topics including the Volhynia Massacre, and a bill rejected by the Sejm aimed at tightening aid for Ukrainian refugees, reflect and reinforce growing anti-Ukrainian sentiments in Polish society.

This internal division creates significant strategic uncertainty. On one hand, the Polish government, represented by Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Minister Sikorski, continues to advocate for supporting Ukraine. On the other hand, President Nawrocki reflects and legitimizes the sentiments of that part of society which is tired of the conflict.
