The Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) have liberated 360 villages from ISIS terrorists west of Mosul since operations in the area were launched in September, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, Deputy Commander of the PMU announced on Sunday.
“Our forces are awaiting directives from Prime Minister and Supreme Armed Forces Commander, Haider al-Abadi, to advance on Tal afar,” the PMU official said, refering to the widely-expected anti-ISIS operation in the town of Tal Afar.
