Between November 4 and 5, Russia and Ukraine continued their exchange of strikes. According to data from the Russian Ministry of Defence, Russian air defence systems destroyed 91 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). For their part, the Ukrainian Air Force reported an attack involving 135 strike UAVs, of which, according to their information, 108 were shot down or suppressed.
Over the past two months, Russian forces have conducted a series of massive strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. It is reported that despite extensive damage, a full-scale collapse of the power grids has so far been avoided. At some damaged facilities, such as the Tripolska Thermal Power Plant (TPP) and the Zmijivska TPP, repairs were promptly carried out.
Key facilities, including major hydroelectric power plants such as the Kyiv and Prydniprovska Hydroelectric Power Plants (HPPs), as well as critical substations like the Kyiv 750 kV and the nodes of the Dnipropetrovsk energy hub, have not been directly hit. System stability is also maintained through the operation of nuclear power plants, electricity imports from the European Union, and decentralized solar generation.
Nevertheless, the damage to the energy infrastructure is substantial. In northern regions, nearly all high-voltage substations above 330 kV in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions have been disabled. Generators and transformers have been damaged at the Seredniodniprovska and Kremenchuk HPPs, necessitating emergency water discharges and reducing electricity supply capabilities. In Kyiv, generation capacity at TPP-6 has been damaged, while at the Ladyzhynska TPP, the roof was destroyed and fuel oil storage tanks were destroyed.
On the night of November 5-6, Russian forces carried out a series of strikes in several regions of Ukraine. The primary targets were power supply nodes, railway infrastructure, and ammunition depots.
Dnipropetrovsk Region
In Kamianske (Dniprodzerzhynsk), a massive strike targeted an industrial zone. The damage to the “Zaporizhzhia–Dniprodzerzhynsk” traction substation resulted in damage to switchgear and power transformers, temporarily disabling the power supply to the Dnipropetrovsk–Zaporizhzhia railway section.
This section is crucial for military transport and supplying the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) grouping in the Dnipropetrovsk direction. Furthermore, a fire destroyed three administrative buildings of the station’s technical service.
In Petropavlivka, a strike targeted the ammunition storage area of the 117th Separate Mechanized Brigade, leading to detonation and the destruction of the warehouse.
Kharkiv Region
In Bohodukhiv, the “Kharkiv High-Voltage Electrical Networks” enterprise was damaged, with a warehouse building, garage, and equipment affected.
In Barvinkove, strikes were carried out near the “Toretska” substation; however, the energy equipment was not significantly damaged, with only fence damage and a localized fire reported.
Chernihiv Region
In Horodnia, a precision strike hit a 110/35/10 kV substation, causing a fire in transformers that were previously under repair and damaging a power transmission line. This substation, while not on the official list of critical infrastructure, was used as a backup node for powering railway traction on the Nizhyn–Chernihiv section.
In Bakhmach, strikes in the area of a railway crossing damaged power lines and suspended train traffic, disrupting the power supply to an important railway hub used for the transfer of ammunition and equipment.
In the Privolye area (DPR), a precision strike targeted railway infrastructure. Damage was inflicted on a railway bridge over the Sukhyi Torets River, the railway track, and the overhead contact line on the Bantysheve–Gusarivka section. This led to a complete halt of traffic on this section, which played an important role in supplying the UAF grouping in the Sloviansk and Kramatorsk area, forcing a switch to road transport.
Strikes on Russian Territory
The largest numbers of UAVs, according to statements from the Russian Ministry of Defence, were shot down over Volgograd (51), Voronezh (9), and Rostov (7) regions, as well as over Crimea (9).
In Volgograd (Volgograd Region), a fire was recorded in the industrial zone of the Krasnoarmeysky District, reportedly at an oil refinery. The Kostroma GRES [State District Power Plant] in Volgorechensk (Kostroma Region) was also attacked; however, no disruptions to the power supply followed.
In Bryansk Region, a strike targeted the agro-industrial holding “Miratorg,” while in Kursk Region, shelling of Rylsk damaged a gas pipeline and a power transmission line.

oh do try to keep up nicola tesla proved over a century ago that the planet earth functions as a generator supplying endless energy without needing any fuel whatsoever .zero fuel zero costs and supplies it in a way that he showed could be harnessed entirely wirelessly and provided ,like 5 g or radio or tv to anywhere for nothing .the planets an induction coil generator .have you heard of them ?

will be cold and dark in ukie land
for many time i wondered why vvs didn´t strike dniepr bridges… now, maybe i´ve the answer… the reservoirs… if one bridge is destroyed by the russian air force, the inhuman ukrainian nazis will blown up the two reservoirs and cause an humanitarian catastrophe and put blame on russia… namely: kamianske and kremenchug… the massive flood will also affect donbass and zaporozhye…so, maybe, there´s a deal after novaya kakhovka, like there´s a deal over tiraspol, belarus, etc…
