On February 21, several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online.
Nine of the videos show a series of drone attacks that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, including other drones, across several directions within the special military operation zone over the last few days.
Notably, one of the attacks, carried out with a Lancet loitering munition, destroyed a fully-loaded Czech-made RM-70 multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) that was deployed by Kiev forces close to the settlement of Kolomyitsy in the direction of Dnipropetrovsk.
An addition video shows an attack with Geran-type fixed-wing suicide drones at the Alexandrovskaya-2 substation which supplies Kiev forces in the direction of Zaporizhzhia.
One more video shows a strike with Tornado-S guided artillery rockets on a building occupied by Ukrainian troops in the settlement of Velika Pisarevk in the Sumy direction.
Two other videos show recent airstrikes with UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs that hit Ukrainian positions in the settlements of Novoaleksandrovka and Grishino in the direction of Donetsk, as well as in the settlement of Staritsa in the direction of Kharkiv.
In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced in its daily briefing that missile, drone and artillery strikes targeted “a transport and load vehicle of a United States-made HIMARS MLRS, struck Flamingo long-range cruise missile launchers, transport and power infrastructure of Ukraine used by the AFU (Armed Forces of Ukraine), assembly, storage, and pre-flight check sites of long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 141 areas” over the last 24 hours.
The ministry also said that Russian air defenses shot down one guided aerial bomb, seven HIMARS rockets, five Flamingo long-range cruise missiles, and 172 fixed-wing drones during the same period.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 670 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 115,937 drones, 650 air defense systems, 27,790 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,666 multiple rocket launchers, 33,400 artillery pieces, and 54,938 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
