Russian Aerospace Forces Destroyed Ukrainian Space Communications Station Near Odessa And Other Targets

On October 18, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of a Ukrainian government space communications station near a village Palievka that located 20 kilometers from the city of Odessa. Earlier, the head of the administration reported that the infrastructure facility in Odessa Region had been hit.

The village of Palievka belongs to the Bilyaivka district of the Odessa region, located about 20 km north of Odessa. The day before, the head of the regional administration, Maxim Marchenko, had reported a drone attack in the Odessa region. According to him, an object of infrastructure was damaged, but he did not specify what object he was referring to.

The Russian Defense Ministry also reported strikes on the Zaporizhzhya control point of the combined group of the AFU troops “Dnipro” and the radar repair shop at the Iskra research and production complex, as well as the defeat of enemy manpower and military equipment in 132 areas. This included the destruction of three US-made AN/TPQ-37 and AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar stations in the areas of Artemivsk, Vyemka and Soledar in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

 

 

In addition, three ammunition depots were destroyed in the areas of Novoivanovka, Mykolaiv region, Odnorobovka, Kharkiv region, and Krasny Liman, Donetsk People’s Republic.
