Russian air defenses repelled three Ukrainian drone attacks over the night of June 7 and 8, shooting down dozens of drones over Moscow and other regions.
In a statement released early in the morning, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that 61 fixed-wing suicide drones were shot down over the regions of Bryansk, Belgorod, Kaluga, Tula, Oryol, Kursk regions, as well as over the Moscow region and over the Republic of Crimea.
The ministry said in another statement released afterwards that three additional drones were intercepted over Belgorod, Bryansk and Tula.
Three other drones were shot down over Belgorod, Bryansk and Moscow, according to a statement released later in the morning.
The first attack caused the closure of two of the key airports serving Moscow, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on Telegram, adding that emergency services were dispatched to the sites where drone debris fell. The mayor didn’t report any casualties or material losses.
To the south of the capital region, Tula Governor Dmitry Milyaev reported a drone attack on the Azot chemical plant in Novomoskovsk and a fire there caused by falling debris. Two people were injured, Milyaev wrote on Telegram. “The situation is under control,” he said.
Unable to stop Russian advance in Sumy, Donetsk and other directions, Ukraine opted to once again escalate strikes on Russian territories.
The escalation began last week when Ukraine claimed responsibility for a sabotage attack with drones that targeted multiple bases in Russia hosting nuclear-capable strategic bombers. Kiev also targeted several civilian sites within Russia in acts of railway sabotage over the past weekend, killing at least seven people and injuring over 120. In the following days, hundreds of drones were launched at Moscow and other Russian regions.
The Russian military has already launched two waves of drone and missile strikes in response to recent Ukrainian attacks. Further retaliation is expected.

the west are pussies. when they run out of ukrainains, they will have to put western soy boys on the front lines. nobody in the west is up to fight because they are busy changing genders. the russians need to strike the west because it is western intel agencies running this whole operation. ukrainians are sacrifical lambs. strike the satanists and expose the bluff that is nato
you need somebody else to strike soy boy because you are inferior to them. hehehe 😂
designed by nato to deplete russian munitions, same as the attacks on the nuclear deterrent air bases in russia. nato thinks slowly but surely and the longer it can hide beneath the skirts of the poor ukrainians being used by zelensky and the west the better, it depletes but avoids open conflict and dragging its member states into direct contact
so putins strategy is to keep zelensky and the nazi junta alive for what? this is not a movie or a video game where you have to fight your way to the boss! just end this war already!
the allies only need 1 nuke to reach moscow & ukraine immediately wins the war…heheheh…
