Russian warplanes destroyed on November 23 a headquarters of so-called Jaysh al-Izza in the outskirt of the town of Kafr Nabl in southern Idlib.
The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that three militants of Jaysh al-Izza were killed in the Russian airstrikes. However, other sources said that the number of fatalities is much higher.
Opposition activists released a video likely showing the moment when a Russian Su-24M2 carried out the airstrike on Jaysh al-Izza’s headquarters.
A series of Russian airstrikes also targeted terrorists’ positions in the towns of Kafar Sijnah, Sheikh Bahr and Kansafra in the southern Idlib countryside.
A day earlier, Russian airstrikes wiped out a headquarters of the Turkish-backed National Front for Liberation (NFL) in the town of Shnan in southern Idlib. The group has not revealed its losses, so far.
