On the night of June 15, Russia launched a massive combined strike on the territory of Ukraine. The Ukrainian Air Force recorded the launch of approximately 611 unmanned aerial vehicles from Russian territory, of which, according to their data, 582 were intercepted or shot down. However, Russian sources record at least 95 strike episodes in 11 regions of the country.

The arsenal of the nighttime attack included six 3M22 Tsirkon hypersonic cruise missiles, 34 9M723 Iskander-M tactical ballistic missiles, and 30 Kh-101, Kh-55, and Iskander-K cruise missiles. The main axes of the strike were Kyiv, Dnipro, and Kharkiv.

Targets in Kyiv and the surrounding areas included:

  • The Radar plant, involved in the development and production of components for long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as in the repair of military-grade radar systems.
  • A workshop for the preparation and configuration of UAVs was located on the territory of the Oleksandr Dovzhenko Film Studio. A telling informational episode occurred at this location: Ukrainian media expressed outrage over the strike on a cultural site, claiming the destruction of thousands of unique historical costumes. However, in the footage they themselves published, the wings of FPV-2 drones were clearly visible. Realizing their mistake, the outlets hastily deleted the news.

  • The Mayak Plant, which produced warheads for UAVs and launch boosters for Flamingo cruise missiles.
  • The Kyiv State Plant Burevestnik, which manufactured medium- and long-range UAVs, as well as radar equipment.

  • Ukr Armotech LLC, engaged in the assembly of warheads for drones and missiles.
  • The Kyiv Aggregate Plant and Aircraft Repair Plant No. 410 of Civil Aviation — enterprises producing not only UAV components but also aircraft themselves, including aircraft turbojet engines.

  • The Enerhiya 2000 enterprise, specializing in simulators for mechanized (tank) units, air defense, and artillery.

  • The innovative Nova Poshta terminal in Kyiv, used for the delivery and storage of dual-use items — components for the production of UAVs, robotic systems, and electronic warfare equipment arriving from Europe.

  • The military airfields of Vasylkiv (near Kyiv), Uman, Cherkasy, and Krasna Slobidka, as well as Boryspil airfield and a military plant workshop in Zhuliany.

According to the Russian ministry, approximately 22 Iskander-M ballistic missiles and several cruise missiles — Tsirkon and Kh-101 — were used in the strike on Kyiv. Simultaneously, strikes were carried out against logistics centers in Mykolaiv, Zhytomyr, and Chernihiv, as well as against Ukrposhta terminals in Brovary.

Targets in Kharkiv, Dnipro, Shostka, and Odesa

In Kharkiv, crews of unmanned systems units using a Geran-2 kamikaze drone struck a building on the territory of the former Promsvyaz plant. According to intelligence data, the Ukrainian firms Greenhouse Solution and DT-1 Group LLC were located there. The specialization of these enterprises is the production of warheads for long-range drones and various types of missiles. Monitoring channels confirm the complete destruction of the building.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the Dnipro Electro-Mechanical Equipment Plant was hit, as were facilities in Dnipro itself. In Kryvyi Rih, an electrical substation was struck.

An intense series of strikes was recorded in Shostka, Sumy region — no fewer than 30 explosions. Russian sources characterize this as the systematic destruction of the military infrastructure of the northern supply hub of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The key facility in Shostka is the Zvezda gunpowder plant, which is believed to have been among the targets.

The Russian Ministry of Defense officially confirmed that the targets of the massive strike were military-industrial complex facilities in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk, as well as military airfields and territorial conscription centers in the capital.
