On August 13, several videos documenting some of the Russian military recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online
15 of the videos show dozens of attacks with FPV suicide drones, grenade-dropping drones, loitering munitions, and interceptor drones that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment across several directions in the special military operation zone in the last few days.
Two other videos show attacks with what appears to be Geran-type fixed-wing suicide drones. One targeted Ukrainian equipment, including two American-made Abrams main battle tanks and four Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, in the direction of Sumy, and another that targeted engineering vehicles of Kiev forces in the Chernigov direction.
Two additional videos show airstrikes with UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs that hit a gathering of Kiev forces near the settlement of Vysokosov in the Sumy direction, as well as Ukrainian posts near the settlements of Dimitrov and Kostyantynivka in the Donetsk direction.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced in its daily briefing that missile, artillery and drone strikes targeted “temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 136 areas” in the last 24 hours.
It added that Russian air defense also shot down four United States-made HIMARS projectiles, nine guided aerial bombs, and 240 fixed-wing drones during the same period.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 665 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 76,916 drones, 625 air defense systems, 24,559 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,585 multiple rocket launchers, 28,456 artillery pieces, and 39,598 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
