On August 24, several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online.
Nine of the videos show dozens of attacks with FPV suicide drones and grenade-dropping drones that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment across several directions in the special military operation zone over the last few days.
Another video shows a strike by a Lancet loitering munition on a large antenna used by Kiev forces to support drone operations near the settlement of Pogoreltsy in the Chernihiv direction.
One more video shows a strike by an Orlan combat drone that targeted a Ukrainian post close to the settlement of Velyka Rybytsia in the Sumy direction.
Three more videos show recent airstrikes with UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs and a Kh-38 guided missile that targeted different targets of Kiev forces near the settlement of Ternove in the Dnipropetrovsk direction, in the outskirts of Kherson city and close to the settlement of Antonivka in the same direction, near the settlement of Dimitrov in the Donetsk direction, and in the settlement of Volchansk in the Kharkiv direction.
In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense said in its daily briefing that missile, artillery and drone strikes hit “site of the Sapsan operational-tactical missile storage facility, drone manufacturing shop, a depot of unmanned aerial vehicles, and temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations” in 146 areas in the last 24 hours.
The ministry added that Russian air defenses shot down three United States-made HIMARS projectiles and 172 fixed-wing drones.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Kiev forces have lost 665 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 79,322 drones, 625 air defense systems, 24,755 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,588 multiple rocket launchers, 28,873 artillery pieces, and 40,314 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
