On August 27, several videos documenting some of the Russian military recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online
11 of the videos show dozens of attacks with FPV suicide drones that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, including drones, across several directions in the special military operation zone over the last few days.
Nine other videos show recent strikes with Lancet loitering munitions that targeted Ukrainian equipment, mostly tanks, in several directions.
Three additional videos shows an attack with Geran fixed-wing suicide drones on a gathering of Kiev forces near the settlement of Novotroitskoye in the Orekhov direction, a strike by an attack helicopter with a LMUR guided missile that targeted a Ukrainain position in the Petropavlivka settlement in the Kupiansk direction, and four airstrikes with UMPK-equipped FAB-250 guided glide bomb on a forward command center of Kiev forces in the settlement of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk direction.
In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced in its daily briefing that recent missile, artillery and drone strikes hit “an air defence radar, command and control posts of unmanned aerial vehicles, UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) assembly areas, as well as temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 149 areas” in the last 24 hours.
The ministry added that Russian air defenses intercepted two guided aerial bombs, two United States-made HIMARS projectiles, and 162 fixed-wing drones during the same period.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 665 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 79,826 drones, 625 air defense systems, 24,817 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,588 multiple rocket launchers, 28,968 artillery pieces, and 40,014 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
