On August 9, several videos documenting recent Russian military operations against Kiev forces were posted to social networks.
Eight of the videos show dozens of attacks with FPV suicide drones, grenade-dropping drones, and loitering munitions that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment across several directions in the special military operation zone in the last few days.
Three other videos show recent airstrikes from the Donetsk direction that targeted a river crossing and several Ukrainian posts near the settlement of Iskra, as well as a gathering in the settlement of Krasnoarmeysk and a building occupied by Kiev forces in the settlement of Fedorovka.
The airstrikes were carried out using UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs, including one massive FAB-3000, in addition to a LMUR guided missile.
In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced in its daily briefing that missile and drone strikes hit “facilities and launching sites of fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles as well as temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian formations and foreign mercenaries” in 142 areas over the last 24 hours.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 665 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 75,813 drones, 625 air defense systems, 24,504 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,584 multiple rocket launchers, 28,318 artillery pieces, and 39,356 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
