On July 16, several videos documenting combat operations that the Russian military conducted against Kiev forces in recent days were posted to social networks.
Ten of the videos show dozens of drone attacks that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, in Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv and several other directions in the special military operation zone in the last few days.
Two other videos show strikes with Lancet loitering munitions that destroyed a main battle tank and an armored personnel carrier in Donetsk and Khakiv.
An addition video shows an attack with Geran-type suicide drones on a Ukrainian drone workshop near the settlement of Tatyanovka in the Odessa direction.
Airstrikes with UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs on Ukrainian positions in Donetsk are shown in two more videos.
In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced in its daily briefing that missile and drone strikes hit “military industry enterprises and fuel and power complex of Ukraine, which are used to support actions of AFU [Armed forces of Ukraine] as well as temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian formations” in 148 areas within the special military operation zone in the last 24 hours.
The ministry added that the air force shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jet and air defenses intercepted four guided bombs in addition to 178 fixed-wing drones.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 664 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 69,771 drones, 616 air defense systems, 24,226 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,577 multiple rocket launchers, 27,406 artillery pieces, and 38,241 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
