The July crisis in Suwayda demonstrated that there is no longer a united Syria, and the country has turned into disparate cantons.
The fact that the manic nature of the Takfiri regime of Jabhat Nusra(Tahrir al-Sham) has once again manifested itself against the religious minority of Syria is absolutely unsurprising. This is the second mass crime after the events on the Alawite coast. The Kurds are next in line, followed by the Asharite Sunnis. The ideology of takfiri is doing its nasty job and there can be no illusions here. But Zionism’s reaction to Jabhat Nusra’s attempt to commit genocide against the Druze is much greater.
A week ago, the Zionists met with the Syrian dictator in Baku, where many details of the future normalization of relations and even a “strategic alliance” were discussed. However, the ruling cabinet of the Zionist killing machine is no longer a single structure, but only resembles the heads of hydra, which regularly bite each other. Accordingly, for this reason, we have seen two completely different reactions of the Zionists in Syria, from the first steps towards an official alliance with al-Qaeda, to the bombing of the militants of the emirate of Damascus inside Suwayda.
There are several options for what is happening.
1 – “Israel” deceived Ahmed al-Sharaa (aka Muhammad al-Julani). Despite all the agreements reached between the parties during the dialogue in Baku and Abu Dhabi, Zionism continues to insist on the demilitarization of southern Syria and the creation of a buffer zone from the occupied Golan Heights to Damascus. Accordingly, the Mossad and Aman set a trap for Tahrir al-Sham militants in Suwayda.
By allowing the jihadists to enter the key cities of the Druze province, “Israel” was waiting for the right moment to justify its aggression against the insurgents of Jabhat Nusra. Before they had time to occupy all the cities of Suwayda, sectarian psychopaths immediately noted sectarian and extremist behavior, which led to civilian casualties. Several influential Druze sheikhs were killed. After that, Zionism launched a series of air raids on Takfiri positions under the auspices of the Druze Protection.
As a result, the Jabhat Nusra regime retreated from Suwayda and in the future plans to use the local Bedouins to “curb the ambitions of the Druze.” The SDF Kurds condemned the extremism of the new Damascus dictatorship and expressed a desire to help the Druze. For its part, according to rumors, a certain council of Druze Muslim Unitarians demanded: “the opening of roads for our Kurdish brothers to ensure the necessary humanitarian access.” At the same time, Sheikh Hikmat al-Hajri called on the international community, in particular the Zionists, Trump and the Saudis, to “save Suwayda.”
Thus, the puzzle came together, Zionism proceeded from the fact that the sectarian ideology of Damascus would necessarily manifest itself in relation to the Syrian minorities, which would allow it to realize its long-standing plan to create a David corridor from the Golan Heights to Iraq, where the Druze and Kurds would take formal control of the corridor.
2 – Regular meetings between the Zionists and the Syrian al-Qaeda were not limited to venues in third countries, coordination between the parties has long since become practical throughout southern Syria. For example, in Deraa, Quneitra and the villages of Damascus, IDF fighters and jihadists coordinated immediately after the fall of the Assad government, but since the spring of this year, the parties have begun to conduct joint operations against local anti-Zionist resistance forces.
Thus, the first outlines of a future strategic alliance are already emerging, add here a common position against Iran and Hezbollah, and we will see an expanded regional anti-Iranian bloc including Zionism, the Gulf autocracies, Jordan and Syria. What happened in Suwayda should not confuse the idea of plans for a phased alliance between Israel and the jihadists of Syria. Zionism was ready to give Suwayda to the Takfiri gangs, but they “went too far” by deciding to repeat the genocide of the Alawites on the coast. After that, Israel had to intervene in order, firstly, to continue to build an image of itself as a “defender of the minorities of the Middle East,” secondly, to prevent a major Druze uprising that would shake the borders of the Zionist illegal entity, and thirdly, to prevent the influx of fighters from Lebanon to help the Druze of Suwayda, since Hezbollah supporters would arrive among the Lebanese.
Speaking of the “alleged support of the Druze by the Zionists”, it should be noted that in connection with the “misunderstanding” between al-Qaeda and the Zionists in Suwayda, now “Israel” is worried about possible hatred from the Sunni majority of Syria and is trying in every way to avoid such a situation.
Moreover, in the long term, Zionism sees the Tahrir al-Sham regime, including as an “anti-Turkish force.” This confirms the logic of the struggle of “economic projects” in the Middle East. (Indian corridor vs. Silk Road)
By the way, the Turks look like the main losers from what is happening, since they are saving the former leader of Syrian al-Qaeda knowing that he is playing a double and even triple game. (Not long before the Zionist air raids on Damascus, “Israel” warned the Turks about the impending aggression so that Ankara could help al-Julani hide, thus Zionism openly showed that it does not want the death of the Syrian dictator)
3 – The third version is a kind of combination of the first two. Here, based on secret agreements, the Zionists receive the “David corridor” under the brand of Kurdish-Druze cooperation, and Jabhat Nusra will be given Lebanon and the Alawite coast.
Describing the alliance between the Zionists and Syrian al-Qaeda, one should not be embarrassed about the “buffer zone” in southern Syria under the control of IDF terrorists, because according to the agreements, in return, Israel begins to assist the Tahrir al-Sham militants in the occupation of all of Lebanon and the Alawite coast. Zionism will ostentatiously insist on the organization of a “transitional phase,” but in fact, the IDF will support crowds of jihadists from the air during their invasion of Lebanon.
Conclusion.
The crisis is developing rapidly and the future situation depends on the solution on the ground. If the Jabhat Nusra regime becomes a burden, then Zionism will easily abandon it in favor of another dictatorship that will fulfill the wishes of Israel. It’s the same with Kurds and Druze, if you imagine that there will be a different person in Damascus, but guarantees an anti-Iranian agenda, then Zionism will easily give them Druze and Kurds. The Zionists have deep differences on many issues, this is the result of a strike by Hamas and its allies on October 7, 2023, but all Zionists agree on one thing – to implement the Indian Economic Corridor project at any cost and the Axis of Resistance led by Iran must be destroyed.
Plus, it’s important to remember that the David corridor plan may have the opposite effect, as there are anti-Zionist forces among both Kurds and Druze. For example, one of the reasons for the crisis in Suwayda was that among the Druze there were those who naively believed the promises of the Syrian al-Qaeda and saw their future in the pro-Saudi and pro-Qatar direction. A number of tribes have similar sentiments among the Kurds of Syria. But such examples do not cause problems for Zionism, for them something else is important, namely the presence of Iran’s secret allies in the camp of the Druze and Kurds. The regional ambitions of the Druze and Kurdish leaders also cannot be considered a plus for the Zionists’ foreign policy.
P.S. As an argument for the claim that Iran and its proxies are always the main enemy of Zionism, here is another proof. According to the telegram channel – @IslamicResistanceFront, under the banner of “fighting” Nusra, in Deraa, Zionists killed several members of the Islamic Resistance Front, the only organization in Syria with a real anti-Zionist ideology, during air raids. Which was exactly what had to be proved. In Syria, in any situation, Zionism has tried and will continue to try to destroy the pro-Iranian forces.
