On September 26, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) disputed an attempt by militants to attack its positions south of the town of al-Lataminah in the northern Hama countryside, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
In details, the SAA detected a group of militants that was moving toward some of its positions and opened fire at them before they reached their target. As a result, many militants were killed and injured, while the rest withdrew to their positions in al-Lataminah.
This was the second violation of the Russian-Turkish deconfliction agreement on the governorate of Idlib in the last 24 hours. The first violation occurred hours earlier when unknown militants launched several rockets at the western part of the city of Aleppo injuring at least one civilian.
The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the Russian Aerospace Forces will likely respond to these violations by striking positions of the militants in northwestern Syria in the upcoming few hours.
