The Strian Arab Air Force and the Russian Aerospace Forces have made over 70 air strikes on terrorist targets in the northern part of Hama province since today morning.
The air strikes were reported near the villages of Kawkab, Souran, Ma’an, Karrah, Khafseen, Ma’ardes, al-Talisah, Helfaya and Taybat al-Imam while the Syrian army was clashing with the joint forces of the US-backed Free Syrian Army (FSA) and Jund al-Aqsa near Tal Malah and al-Jabin.
Local sources say that some 20 militants were killed and over 50 wounded as result of the ari strikes. However, the situation in the province remains tense. The US-backed militant gorups have been continuing to pressure the Syrian government forces in the area.
