t-80 is shit compared to abrams. this is the reason, why needed ussr to develope t-90.
No the reason is because Russia realized that it’s too heavy and that a gas turbine system is a big no no.
It’s armor is on pair with the Abrams.
Russia corrected the mistake the U.S. did not, albeit they had 40 years to do so…
