On December 22, several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online.
The Center for Advanced Unmanned Technologies “Rubicon” released eight videos showing dozens of recent attacks with FPV suicide drones, mainly from the directions of Sumy and Donetsk. The attacks targeted Ukrainian troops, positions and equipment.
Notably, the attack destroyed three main battle tanks, a Soviet-made T-64BV, an American-made M1A1 AIM v.1 Abrams, and a German-made Leopard 1A5.
Other Russian sources shared seven more videos showing additional attacks with FPV suicide drones and grenade-dropping drones.
One more video shows an attack with Tornado-S guided artillery rockets on a position of Kiev forces in an unspecified part of the special military operation zone.
In its daily briefing, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that missile, drone and artillery strikes hit “power facilities, port and depot infrastructure that supported the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), launch positions of long-range unmanned aerial vehicles as well as on the AFU headquarters, temporary deployment areas, and foreign mercenaries in 142 areas” over the past 24 hours.
The ministry also said that air defense systems shot down 76 fixed-wing drones launched by Kiev forces during the same period.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 669 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 104,090 drones, 640 air defense systems, 26,653 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,634 multiple rocket launchers, 32,082 artillery pieces, and 49,742 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
