Pro-Turkish militant groups and the Turkish Armed Forces have seized the village of Suflania and besieged the ISIS-held town of Qabasin in the Syrian northern province of Aleppo.
Strategically, this move is aimed to flank the ISIS-held town of Al-Bab which Turkish forces have been shotrming since the end of 2016.
If Turkish forces are able to seize Qabasin, they will flank al-Bab from the eastern direction and will be able to besiege this key ISIS-controlled town in the province of Aleppo.
