The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a railway ferry in the port of Kavkaz, the operational headquarters of Krasnodar Region reported on August 22.
“A train ferry with fuel tanks was attacked in Port Kavkaz. Emergency and special services are working at the scene,” local authorities reported.
There were five people on the ferry at the time of the attack, according to reports. Their fate is being clarified.
Media reports claim that the fire was caused by the strike of at least one missile.
Port Kavkaz is a small port in Krasnodar. It is located on the eastern side of Kerch Strait.
Over the past weeks, forces of the Kyiv regime have intensified strikes on targets all across Russia, including civilian objects. The attacks were especially intense in the last few days as Kyiv’s forces are trying to gain momentum in Kursk.
