The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation revealed the name of the General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who ordered to use the residents of Mariupol as a human shield.
During interrogations of Ukrainian militants from the nazi Azov regiment who carried out general coordination of military actions in Mariupol, it was established that the Commander of the South and East groups of the AFU, Lieutenant General Alexander Pavlyuk, gave criminal orders to block humanitarian corridors in order to prevent civilians from leaving the city so that the Ukrainian militants could use them as human shields.
The Defense Headquarters under the command of Pavlyuk ordered kill all persons moving around the city, including women and children, despite the fact that these civilians did not pose a threat to Ukrainian servicemen.
The indictment order was announced on Pavlyuk in Russia. Measures are being taken to search for him and arrest him, the Russian Investigative Committee reported.
