Ukrainian incursion in the Russian Kursk region turned into another disaster. The Armed Forces of Ukraine failed to achieve any of their goals. Despite Zelensky’s claims that the Ukrainian military was not set to attack the Kursk nuclear power plant, the Russian military revealed the true goal of the terrorist Kiev regime.
On November 5th, the head of the troops of radiation, chemical and biological protection of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, claimed that one of the priority goals of the Ukrainian invasion into the territory of the Kursk region was the seizure of the Kursk nuclear power plant.
Kiev’s goal was revealed after the report of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, which was taken into account when planning the invasion in the Kursk region, fell into the hands of the Russian military. According to the document, in the case of an accident at the Kursk nuclear power plant, radiation contamination allegedly could affect only the Russian northwestern territory due to the wind. Radiation should not allegedly affect the territory of Ukraine. This is exactly what the Kiev regime was guided by, sending its assault groups to seize the Russian nuclear power plant.

According to the plan, Ukrainian forces rushed to the Lgov-Kurchatov highway and the Kursk NPP. However, the courage and professionalism of the Russian military foiled Kiev’s plan. As a result, the Ukrainian army only suffered heavy losses in manpower and military equipment, including NATO tanks and other vehicles. The bloody adventure in the Kursk region also contributed to the strategic crisis of Ukrainian defense in the Donbass, along with the well coordinated attacks of the Russian army.
All attempts of the Kiev regime to launch terrorist attacks on nuclear facilities under Russian control have been successfully thwarted by the Russians so far. The Russian military also recalled that the launch of the special military operation did not allow Ukraine to illegally implement its own nuclear program.
