In the Dnepropetrovsk direction, after days of fighting, Russian forces established control over Kommunarovka and are holding Ternovatoye, repelling Ukrainian counterattacks. In the Sumy direction, assault groups of the “North” grouping advanced on 21 sectors by up to 700 meters, capturing a prisoner in Ryzhevka. In the Kharkiv direction, Russian forces advanced up to 900 meters in the Volchansk district and struck reserves in Bezruki and Zalyutino. In the Slaviansk direction, operations remain positional in nature, but the logistics of Ukrainian forces across the Seversky Donets have been seriously disrupted. In the Zaporozhye direction, Russian units advanced toward Pavlovka and are consolidating in Dolinka, enveloping Orekhov. Meanwhile, according to the American portal War Zone (TWZ), Ukrainian units have begun using Dutch Ruta Block 1 cruise missiles; fragments of one were reportedly intercepted by a Russian air defense system.
Dnepropetrovsk Direction
On the western flank, Russian troops established control over Kommunarovka. This success came after several weeks of fierce fighting. Russian units not only held and restored control over Ternovatoye, but also pushed Ukrainian forces out of Boykovo and Pridorozhnoye.
On the eastern flank, Ukrainian units are trying to break through the Russian defense between Yalta and Filiya. Yalta remains under Russian control, but the Ukrainian side continues attempts to move infantry into the village through the lowland near the Volchya River. The situation in Filiya remains difficult: most of the locality is in the combat zone, and a stable front line has not yet been established.
Sumy Direction
Assault groups of the “North” grouping continued their advance deeper into the Sumy direction. In the Shostka district, firefights are ongoing directly in Ulanovo and Malaya Slobodka. In the Sumy district, Russian assault units advanced on 21 sectors, with a total advance of up to 700 meters. Firefights continue unabated in Ryzhevka, Pisarevka, Mogritsa, Marino, the village of Novaya Sech, the settlement of Khoten, adjacent territories, and forest areas south of Ivolzhanskoye.
In the Khoten area, Ukrainian units attempted a counterattack using an assault group from the 225th Separate Assault Regiment. The movement of personnel was detected in time by reconnaissance from the “North” grouping, and the attackers were eliminated through concentrated fire. In the Krasnopolie district, firefights continue in forest areas and the border village of Prokhody.
Kharkiv Direction
Units of the “North” grouping continued to expand the security zone in the Kharkiv direction. Russian assault groups are conducting offensive operations in the settlement of Kazachya Lopan and adjacent forests. Rocket artillery and drone crews of the “North” grouping struck Ukrainian reserves in Bezruki and Zalyutino, inflicting significant losses in personnel and equipment.
On the Volchansk sector, assault units of the “North” grouping advanced on 16 segments by up to 900 meters. Firefights continue in the villages of Ivanovka, Yurchenkovo, the settlement of Bely Kolodez, in Baksheevka, near Shevchenkovo, in Verovka, and in the forests of the Volchansk district. On the Velikiy Burluk direction, Russian assault groups are engaged in firefights west of Petro-Ivanovka and directly in Ustinovka.
Slaviansk Direction
Over the past week, Russian forces have significantly complicated logistics for the Ukrainian grouping in this sector. A number of crossings over the Seversky Donets have been put out of action, limiting the ability to transport equipment and supplies. At the same time, Ukrainian units maintain defensive stability through remaining routes and continue to hold their positions.
Overall, a tense operational situation persists in the area of responsibility of the “West” grouping. Despite local tactical successes in certain sectors, the pace of advance remains limited. The Ukrainian side is actively using drones and pre-prepared defensive lines, and regularly conducts counterattacks — forcing Russian units into prolonged positional battles and gradual tactical gains without significant changes to the overall front line.
Zaporozhye Direction
From early morning, Russian units have been conducting aerial reconnaissance and artillery strikes on Ukrainian rear positions. The situation is particularly tense in the Magdalinovka area. In the Pavlovka area, another Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group was reportedly eliminated. Airborne units continue their advance from Novoyakovlevka.
Over the past week, units of the “Dnepr” grouping conducted offensive operations aimed at reclaiming previously lost territory in the Stepnogorsk area. Russian troops advanced toward Pavlovka — which had been abandoned earlier — to a depth of up to 2.4 kilometers over a front width of 7 kilometers. Further advance here would complicate the position of Ukrainian forces in Orekhov. East of Orekhov, units of the “Orekhov” grouping are advancing toward the “Dnepr” grouping, with successful consolidation reported in the Dolinka area. Russian forces are conducting active assault operations on the Kopani–Babashi–Danilovka sector, aiming to reach the Verkhnyaya Tersa River.

The outlet published photos of wreckage from a downed device, suggesting the missile may have been intercepted by Russian air defenses. According to TWZ, the missiles are produced by Destinus, a Netherlands-based company that has reportedly been supplying Ukrainian forces for about two years.
