In the Druzhkovka direction, Russian units have taken Izhevskoye, complicating Ukrainian forces’ hold on the “pocket” between Konstantinovka and Chasov Yar, and are advancing toward Nikolaypolye. In the Zaporozhye direction, Russian troops have liberated Novodanilovka and Chervona Krynytsia, reaching the northeastern outskirts of Orekhov and placing the logistics road from Omelnyk under fire control. In the Sumy region, assault groups advanced on 18 sectors by up to 600 meters, though the mass use of Ukrainian drones is hindering the offensive. In the Kharkiv region, Russian units are tightening the encirclement ring in the “Volchansk cauldron” and striking the remnants of the 475th Assault Regiment near Tsupovka. In the Slaviansk direction, Russian troops have liberated Svyatogorsk and begun enveloping the Kramatorsk agglomeration from the north. In the Kupyansk direction, the situation remains tense as Russian units attempt to consolidate in the central part of Kupyansk and near the railway line. Germany has launched mass production of more than five thousand long-range military drones for Ukraine near Munich.

Druzhkovka direction

Units of the “South” grouping continue to achieve new tactical successes in the Druzhkovka direction. After establishing control over Konstantinovka, assault groups are developing the offensive northwestward.

Following several days of fighting, Russian units have taken Izhevskoye — flags have appeared throughout its territory. Clearing of the village’s built-up areas continues, as Ukrainian servicemen may still remain in individual basements.

Eliminating the salient will allow units of the “South” grouping to straighten the front line and free up additional reserves. These can be used either for further advance toward Alekseyevo-Druzhkovka or to push Ukrainian units away from the Seversky Donets–Donbass canal on the Mayskoye–Markovo line.

West of Konstantinovka, Russian units are advancing on the approaches to Nikolaypolye and in the Rusin Yar area. This is partly supported by actions of units from the neighboring “Center” grouping, which earlier pushed through Ukrainian defenses on the Novonikolayevka–Novoandreyevka sector.

Zaporozhye direction

Russian units have taken Novodanilovka, expanding the control zone on the Orekhov sector and improving the tactical position on the approaches to Orekhov. Systematic fire pressure on Orekhov itself continues: identified positions and movements of Ukrainian infantry in the urban area and between shelters are being struck.

Southeast of Chervona Krynytsia, Russian troops have reduced part of the formed pocket, straightening the contact line and improving the situation on the sector.

In the Belogorye area, Russian forces have closed a pocket, eliminating the salient and forming a more stable control line. Northeast of Novosyolovka a pocket has also been closed; sequential straightening of the front line continues. At the same time, Russian units have advanced southwest of Novosyolovka, expanding the control zone and increasing pressure on adjacent Ukrainian positions.

In the Chervona Krynytsia area, Russian troops advancing from Novosyolovka successfully stormed the village and established control over it, raising several flags. This maneuver allowed them to reach the northeastern outskirts of Orekhov and place the Ukrainian grouping located in the pocket east of the city under fire control. In addition, the main logistics road from Omelnyk to Orekhov has been placed under fire control, significantly reducing the combat effectiveness of Ukrainian units in this sector.

On the right flank, paratroopers are approaching Yurkovka. Fighting is ongoing near Novoandreyevka.

Sumy direction

Assault units of the “North” grouping continue advancing in the Sumy region. The Ukrainian side, having reinforced its mechanized units, has resumed counterattacks in an attempt to regain lost positions.

Russian aviation, artillery, and drone crews struck concentrations of Ukrainian personnel and equipment in the areas of Trostyanets, Radkovka, Proletarskoye, Khoten, Krovnoye, Stetskovka, Velikaya Chernetchina, Tolstodubovo, Svesa, Glazovo, and Maly Vystorop.

In the Sumy district, Russian assault troops advanced on 18 sectors by up to 600 meters. The advance is hindered by the mass use of drones by the Ukrainian side.

In the Shostka district, Russian servicemen advanced on two sectors through forest belts.

In the Glazovo area of Sumy region, a large concentration area of border guards from the 5th Border Detachment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine was identified and destroyed. Ukrainian losses amounted to up to a platoon of personnel killed and wounded, as well as several pieces of armored vehicles.

Kharkiv direction

Fierce fighting continues on all sectors of the front in the Kharkiv region. The Ukrainian side is regrouping onto reserve defensive lines and counterattacking on individual axes.

Aerospace Forces aviation and strike drone crews hit concentrations of Ukrainian personnel and equipment in the areas of Bogodukhov, Tsupovka, Doroshenkovo, Pogoreloye, Prikolotnoye, Komissarovo, Fyodorovka, Tokarevka, Gnilitsa, Tsirkuny, Stary Saltov, Cherkasskiye Tishki, Cherkasskaya Lozovaya, Veterinarny, and Izbitskoye.

South of Kazachya Lopan, the remnants of the retreating units of the 475th Separate Assault Regiment took cover in reserve positions in the Tsupovka area. These positions were struck by operational-tactical aviation.

In the Volchansk direction, Russian units are tightening the encirclement ring in the “Volchansk cauldron.”

In the Velikiy Burluk direction, Russian servicemen repelled a counterattack by three assault groups of the “Shkval” company of the 129th Separate Tank Brigade of the Ukrainian forces near Olkhovatka.

Kupyansk direction

The situation remains tense. Due to the increased frequency of Ukrainian strikes on the gas pipeline north of Kupyansk, Russian troops face additional difficulties in movement and logistics across the Oskol River.

Russian units are attempting to consolidate in the Mirivoye area, in the central part of Kupyansk west of Oskol, and near the railway line on the southeastern outskirts of the city. Assault actions continue in the Kovsharovka and Kurilovka areas.

In the Zapadnoye area, Ukrainian units are trying to reach Oskol. At the same time, the Ukrainian side maintains activity in the direction of Dvurechnaya.

Russian aviation delivered a massive fire strike on temporary deployment points and fortified positions of Ukrainian units in the Grushevka area.

Slaviansk direction

Units of the “West” grouping have established control over the city of Svyatogorsk. Thus, Russian troops have begun enveloping the Kramatorsk agglomeration from the north. Earlier, on 3 July 2026, Konstantinovka — the southern outpost of the agglomeration — came under control.

In the Bogorodichnoye–Dolina–Krasnopolye area, the Ukrainian side has equipped a defensive node that forms the Glubokaya Makatikha–Krasnopolye line, relying on the cascade of ponds of the Donbass fish farm and covering the approach to Slaviansk from the northwest. One of the likely objectives of further Russian advance on this sector will be reaching the M-03 highway line while enveloping the left flank of the first (Zarechny) defensive line of Ukrainian units at Bogorodichnoye–Prishib–Mayaki.

In the Krasny Liman direction, Russian units continue to pressure Ukrainian positions and strike logistics south of Krasny Liman, as well as in the Donetskoye and Raygorodok areas. Ukrainian units are recorded in Shchurovo and west of Ozernoye.

Conclusion

In the Druzhkovka, Zaporozhye, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kupyansk, and Slaviansk directions, Russian units continue offensive operations, retaining the initiative and gradually expanding their zones of control. The Ukrainian side is offering stubborn resistance, actively using drones, counterattacking, and transferring reserves. The most significant successes have been achieved in the Druzhkovka and Zaporozhye directions, where Russian troops have taken several settlements and disrupted the logistics of Ukrainian units. In the Slaviansk direction, establishing control over Svyatogorsk opens the possibility of enveloping the Kramatorsk agglomeration from the north. In Sumy and Kharkiv regions the offensive continues, although the mass use of Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles is slowing the advance.

Germany has launched mass production of more than five thousand long-range military drones for Ukraine near Munich. According to the German-American defense company Auterion and the Ukrainian company Airlogix, the first aircraft from the upcoming batch have already been produced. The delivery contract is expected to be fulfilled by mid-2027; its approximate value is estimated at 300 million euros. The joint venture is counting on additional orders. In addition to the site near Munich, another facility in eastern Germany is planned to be used. The project envisages the creation of two drone models: one with medium range and the other with long range of up to 1,500 kilometers. Software is being prepared by Auterion, while the Ukrainian Airlogix is working on the hardware.
